None of the young players got better as discussed akinola got worse, macnaughton look ok mid season, but lately awful...the rest of the young guys didn't progress JMR may leave and so he should bob has failed him. Being at BMO on Sat was just electric. To be honest, I was apprehensive because of the great unknown, but at the same time shamelessly bursting with guarded excitement and optimism inside. Boy did they deliver and what a show it was. Just hoping for continuity now.

I push back a little on the notion of Champions League this year being a priority for the club. If Champions League was a priority then the roster construction and acquisitions would reflect that. I'm not saying that we should have signed a DP by now, I don't think you should rush those things in terms of the long term success of the club, however if this years Champions League was a priority then we would have our 3rd DP by now. The club willing to wait and be patient on getting the DP in just tells me the Champions League this year isn't a priority. Depending on the timing of the signing, the supporters shield might not be a priority either. MLS Cup and retaining the Champions League spot looks like the priorities for the club this year.

Love the recognition MJ is getting as she’s the hardest working journalist/producer out there trying to shine a light on Women’s soccer in this country.
