- Inner peace and self-forgivness are methods that do help the trauma of verbal, physical, and emotional abuse. Invoking a 'higher power' (gods), that cannot be proven to exist, is a placebo that has failed to solve the problem.
I am interested in the 'tools' and methods our modern science, philosophy, and psychology has revealed to make our childhood development (emotional intelligence, mental heath, etc.) families, and communities better. Some of your content was promising, but I cannot agree that relying on drugs (cannabis) or religion (a belief in the supernatural that cannot be verified to exist) is the way to go. They are the 'idols' or crutches that take the place of authentic inner peace, freedom from hurt and shame, and joy.
