🥹 thank you! 🙏🏾
She's back! I am glad you are doing well! Missed your content! ❤
Thank you 😍. October is SO busy for us with the kids. 👧🏾👶🏽
@Taylorfayereads girl same! I was like you know what.. I loveeee yall, but yall are only getting two videos this month. I have a child and his birthday is in October like… i cant lol
I wonder what her new book is ripping off ? The boyfriend 👀
I haven't read it, dying to know!
Just finished this book last week, you are on point about everything...it's the worse of the series
GIRL, such trash.
I was waiting to ready this book since a long time. I was so excited at first. But the end just ruined everything for me. This book was so unnecessary.
so.. i started we used to live here. And i am at the EXACT point where the book has shifted from Thrilled to horror and girl im Scared lolol
So SPOOOKY! 😬 I was like oh no, I am NOT READY for this. One of my favs of the year!
Your humor gets me all the time😂 Love it❤
tysm! <3
Best book I read in Sep was the Silent Patient. People either hate or love this book lol
I didn't mind that book, I've been interested in picking up more from the author
Your hair is so cuteeee
Thank you!!! (I actually just CHOPPED it all off) 🫢
You def have books with good premise. Sux Parasite didn't work out. I hate when people low rate books for dumb reasons
thanks! yes, it was so bizarre. I avoid books I don't think I can handle (Little Life, The Reformatory) because I'm a little millennial cancer empath and I know I can't handle it.
Excellent video
Thank you very much!
I FELT THE SAME EXACT WAY AND I WANTED MY MONEY AND MY TIME AND MY MEMORY BACK
GIRL, I keep that book on my shelf as a trophy. A badge of honor that i completed this. It was SO GROSS
@@Taylorfayereads you better than me I threw it in a free little library which now sounds horrible smh lol
@@sjonez1016 🙊 that poor next victim 😅
Video perfect new subscriber
Thank you!!!
Thriller to horror transition is wildddd when it happens. Lol especially if the book is marketed as suspense, thriller lolol
It really got ME. I was shook. 😮
Incidents around the house was so good! And not talked about enough!
It's SO SIMPLE and SO GOOD. 😍😍
@@Taylorfayereads now you got me wanting to read we used to live here!
You are making me want to get that Sleep Tight book now lol
It really made me want to rewatch se7en

“And not really taking showers cause they’re in the ocean so much and now they all smell like f**king a**” 💀💀🤣🤣😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Ummmm how do you plan on reading hunted and not being terrified???
I truly am talking a BIGG game. I can binge watch horror movies but the books sometimes get under my skin. So we will see. :)
I love your reviews 👌🏼 and I also loved The Push 📖
Tysmmm 😊
I didn't like the Push but I am not a mom and don't want to be. I also predicted it FROM THE TITLE. Have you read The Whispers??
I actually JUST hauled that from my library, I hope to read it this month.
I've lost all respect for Freida McFadden. I've read all of her books and she was my favorite author until I read Verity and realized she's just a copycat.
I went to the Library last week for the first time in like 8 years. I gave thrillers another shot. I read Verity first. Loved it. Second 5 star of the year. I just finished final girl support group also enjoyed it. Not a 5 star i give it a 4. Im like wow you actually opened up a new genre for me, even though i feel like most of the times we dont like the same books at all lol
🥰🥰🥰🥰love that!!!!
omg this book was good. i read it in a day.
The red lobster analogy 😆
I JUST finished The Housemaid and came looking for this! When I was reading this I was like woah this is the exact same plot, almost same characters to a tee and even written the same way splitting the perspective’s 🤦🏻♀️
I need to know more about these.... "Dad Books!" LOL! What's Poppin Sandra! That little guy bombing your vid. C Ya !
😂😂😂
Omg finally! Someone that had the same feelings as me about this book lol 😂 I also felt like a lot of the scenes in the book were just unnecessary. I also felt like the book was written in such a cheesy way… I read the first House Maid and I did like it, but the other two were just so bad imo.
YES, Freida is pumping these books out so fast I don’t think her editor has time to review them. The writing was SO juvenile, I could NOT handle it.
Yeah at least you did borrow them from the library 😅 Your son is so cute 🥰
Thank you! There's nothing i despise more than disliking a book i paid FULL price for. 😤🤬
Well Sandra Brown gave you one good one. Them random library picks be surprising you.
It's like playing the lotto!
Dude I initially followed you a couple of months ago because I love your vibes and editing style. Also you dropped that you are a mom and I thought YES finally someone in this book community that is kinda similar to me in that sense. When you shared your thoughts about your son 'growing up so fast' I felt soooooooo seen. My son just turned one and this first year was TOUGH man. Thanks for the book rec, I will definitely look into The Push 💙💙
🥰🥹 that's so nice to hear!! The first year was so damn difficult, especially because they're so unresponsive to your love. I feel it gets easier with each age. Now my son has an attitude (my attitude) but at least tells me his needs and can reciprocate love. People who love infants are so suspicious to me, please keep them away from me.
I just may need to check the Push out! I read Wolfsong by T.J. Klune & loved every minute of it!
Please do, & i've never heard of Wolfsong. I'll have to look that one up
Omw to start The Housemaide
Youve been warned
I read the first one: loved it. I read the second: it was okay. I didn’t read the third (hence me watching your video) and I might be done with Freida McFadden. All of her books have the same formula. Like she’s not changing it up at all. She has good ideas, but I think she needs help executing them. And the right, she repeats herself sooooo often and they’re always non important details. It feels like a red herring! Pay attention to this detail so I can slip this little thing in here. Then the villain “here’s how and why I did it” at the end of the book feels so cheap. Like you can let some stuff be a mystery, or explain it in a less spoon fed way.
Yes, once you read more than one of her books you really figure out the formula and it's simply wash, rinse, repeat. I think she's great for an adult who is JUST getting back into reading (me 2 years ago) but now, she can go. We have bigger and better things to do.
Sincerely, thank you for this video so I could stop reading The Housemaid at 25%, trusting my instincts that it wasn't worth finishing.
There's so many other fund little domestic thrillers. A perfect Ruin by shanora williams is a great replacement!
I agree with everything, this book sucked
That's an interesting take on Horror Movie. I recently picked that book up and am excited to read it
It's bizarre, I'm excited to read more from Paul. I just got a head full of ghosts from my library
I was just telling my sisters its time to get the pumpkins ready yesterday! I just broke open my first fantasy 5 months! Thats how i know im ready for fall because im such a mood reader and i have like 6 vampire books on my TBR like im readyyy for just fall in general 😂
I'm always ready for Halloween 🎃
however millie is a way better character than that amber bit*h. amber is horrible. omg. i love that daphne got the last laugh hhahaha. at least millie and nina parted on good terms
I’ve been meaning to read Kill River for FOREVER. I’ve heard you gotta read the whole series to get the full story and it takes its time introducing you to the characters. I love a good camp setting! Happy Summerween!! 🎃☀️
Oo good to know! I'm 24% of the way through it's chill so far
Yaaas Red Rising! Its so good! The whole series was awesome. So many characters ti keep track of. Now i am back in The Expanse series.... more Sci-Fi... love it!
Its So Hottt !
