Great job Sanjay and we are so proud of you!
What a sharp clean-cut young man Sarjay is. Quite the accomplishment to write this puzzle book at 14. His future looks bright. Best of luck to him.
I doubt you will read this walter, but if you do, I want to say how much I enjoy reading "hardwired." It is easily one of the best cyberpunk novels I have yet read. In this interview you say you switch your style from book to book, what else have you written that may be similar?
Watching this whole interview while I work and I wanna say, Johanna I’m always so inspired by you and your genius creative mind!! Can’t wait to get my copy of GHOSTKEEPER! I’ve already pre-ordered!
INGRID THANK YOU 😭 💕 You are seriously so sweet!! Will I see you at the book launch on July 23?? 👀
Omg I’d love that!! Where is it at?
@@IngridComics I'll send you a DM on insta!!
I loved Tremontane so much, want more, loved the characters
Fun to see this, Ellen! I have a few Audible credits and am going to listen to one or more of your books. It’s been a long time since I read them. Sending a hug, Susan
I wish his prefaces/prologues were longer
Witch!
Witch!
Inspirational interview straight from the heart!
Thank you!
At 0:28 the word is QUEER, not "quick." I know. It confused me, too! Sorry for the poor internet connection here in NYC.
Because of a temporary eye complaint am currently re=reading beloved writers Ian Rankin and Alexander McCall Smith on Kindle, mainstay of sleepless nights during lockdown. 2 questions for Prof. McCall Smith: when will Bertie be allowed to grow up? and when will he stand up to Olive? Concurrently, when will Jaimie grow older and his value to Isabel Dalhousie cease to be a subject of wonder and envy? Especially to her. She is going to be stuck in some kind of amorous yoga position if this doesn't stop lol. I can't help it, my mum was from Berlin and a holocaust survivor and I'm more interested in rescuing Gaza from genocidal Israelis than the gentle rain over Edinburgh. Ok, you cannot have one without a feeling for the other and you cannot hide.
Another great interview. I will definitely look up Stephanie Dray’s books.
Wonderful!
I have loved both of these books - the Dictionary of Lost Words and also The Bookbinder. Lovely stories about women and not topics that are found elsewhere in all of the “copycat” books we have been reading lately about women in the Second World War (many which I also like, but this theme has been overdone.) Her description of the creative process resonates for me as an artist.
What an excellent interview! We live in LA, too, and I must go to the Chinese American Museum. My husband has been there and raves about it. I’ve seen some photos of Anna Mae Wong.
Miles and his crew, they got me through some tough times. Thank you for sharing.
A strong and wise woman! Low bow, for incredible books 🇺🇦! The Saga of the Vorkosigans is a masterpiece; a unique thing is an attempt at a multipolar view of the values of civilization
Great interview. What an interesting man, enormously talented. I’m sure his students love his classes.
Promo_SM 🙌
Charlaine Harris is my favourite writer. I have been following her for a long time. Reading her books has been a source of comfort and pleasure in my life, at a time when I needed it. I very much like Sookie, but I love love love Lily Bard. She is just a well accomplished writer, not many like her around anymore.
I'm coming here soon. Specifically for doctor who stuff. Very excited 😆
I want to read those 5 chapters of Ivan's book that she threw out. 🙃
I hope for new books, but I understand at this point it may or may not happen. I am content with what I have for now.
Wow. He’s really a talker…
Thank you for posting. She changed my life
Thank you for this interview.
I've enjoyed your film books and your dry humor, especially your doctoral dissertation on "Plan 9 From Outer Space." Keep it up.
A lovely interview. Thank you.

Yes, terrible interviewer, I couldn't make it past 3 minutes, sad because Joyce Carol Oates is my favorite writer and she so much more deserving of a better interview, someone who genuinely cares about her large volume of work. This person just made themselves look moronic. Typical book tuber with a herd mentality.
Excellent interview!! Love Susan Shwartz! 🙂
What a great interview. Ventrella is such a nice guy - intelligent, witty, observant, creative, and compassionate. I’ll bet he’s a good musician and a fine lawyer as well.
Quite an interesting interview. Many thanks.
A lovely interview. Thank you.
Zin is a great person and a great author. I first met her at a Book Con.
Do you went to Ohio high school?
I loved The Traitor. Emma is extremely well-written. I like the seriousness and not adding joking. As a woman, I don't want to read about women who dumb down. My only wish is that Glass would not use the F word. It prevents me from recommending.
P.S. That song the Lakewalkers sang about two lovers made me wonder if Dag and Fawn would fulfill that prophesy, if prophesy it was.
Your work has meant so much to me since my first encounter with Miles. Since then, I've read everything you've written. Thank you.
I love this talk much... Thank you both, and everyone... I subscribed...
I believe you are the next Tolkien. Seriously.
I wish I could get my mhi copy signed
Ladies #1 Detective Agency ! LOVE this series so much!!!
