"Wow, this episode sounds super insightful! Combining real estate with a CPA perspective is such a unique angle. Can't wait to hear Michael Matthew's expertise-this is a must-watch for anyone interested in real estate investing!" But listen, I'd like to give you some tips for free on how to make your site more brandable. How can we talk to you?
Checkers: you work hard for your money Chess: your money works hard for you
What a great way to put checkers versus chess - violently agreeing. Love this explanation!
Thank you for having me, Jennifer!
We are mom-n-pop landlords. We vet our prospects carefully. We give tenants a certain amount of wiggle room. We take care of our properties. We keep rents lower than market and rarely raise rent. Tenants are NOT afraid to ask for something. This formula has built beautiful communities. My life is easy, tenants may struggle but they KNOW if they get jammed up we'll work with them.
I've owned one single-family rental house in FL for decades; have had same tenants for 12 years now. No draconian non-eviction or rent-control laws here, unles you're doing Section 8 housing. Which I would not do. If I weren't 73, I might buy more single family rental houses. Good luck to all the mom and pop landlords out there, (and pick your states carefully!)
The cheap labor will run out then this house of cards will fall. Got out of building management. Glad I'm not making these arrogant people money.
how is the landlord for 28 years but there was a certain element that you can never rent to and it became very difficult legally not to rent to them the courts are against White landlords they are against black landlords they are part of the destruction of Justice
Depends on the state, and whether you have more than 3 rental houses, at least in FL.
😂 shitty life
good Episode
It begs the question, what type of doctor? Because surely you can't be in the medical field, adhering to the hippocratic oath, and also be such a colossal social parasite. Is it possible that you think you're 'teaching' anyone anything we don't already know about this egregious Ponzi scheme we call Canadian Real Estate? "You have to keep your business going" do you? "Business"? NO. Real businesses are productive and contribute to the overall wellbeing of society. On the contrary, landlords EXTRACT WEALTH from other people with less access to capital, slowly driving those other people into poverty if not homelessness, and are THE PRIMARY REASON that Canada is turning into a "3rd world" sh!thole. YOUR TENANTS PAY YOUR MORTGAGES, which means LANDLORDS ARE FREELOADERS. How about you people get real jobs instead of spending your most productive years sucking the life out of other people's futures?
