We were supposed to play this song at my ninth grade concert but we didn’t because not everyone knew the song

My band has like- an 18 year streak of playing this song in our grade for our last concert, very happy I’m doing this, sadly I play suspended cymbal for this song and I don’t even play in our sectional part (wipe out) :’)

The best song for any middle school band, especially when Stars & Stripes is being played. When my MS band played this, the audience started clapping to S&S near the end of the performance

You can say that again! I mean I am a percussionist at school but my teacher always spends time with the clarinets and trumpets more! It’s kind of annoying that he does not pay attention enough to the other Instruments and Percussionists out there. But I get that it is great if you were the trumpet!

I get to play this song this year for 8th grade. I love the song, and I don't have to sing(hhahahahaha), but I absolutely despise the tuba part in the James Bond theme. It's literally just F and C. We do get to get back on the trumpets on the Peter Gunn theme however.
We played this for our last concert that the Symphonic Band would be together. Although I didn't play 1st trombone, I loved the melody we had at Peter Gunn's theme.
