After watching the movie, I can totally understand everything they are talking about. They really go in deep on not only the history of demons but their workings. Praise Jesus. They got it done.

Well, yeah. You guys cheated that ending, so of course both sides would be pissed at you. [spoilers below] James, in his arrogance, grants Nefariamus 'total irrevocable eternal' access to his body. That doesn't go away! He said that! He already gave permission for Nefariamus to get inside, and do ANYTHING he wants. So at the end, there's no reason for him to ask James if he agrees to the deal. *He already has permission.* Everything after that is a cheat and you know it, which is why it feels so fake compared to the rest of the story. There's no good reason for Nefariamus to make James kill himself, and no fair reason how James could win. *This could have been a story about how, if you make stupid, arrogant decisions in dealing with something you don't understand, you get the result you deserve.* James underestimated the demon, the same as people underestimate a hurricane, and then lose their house. That is the deserved result of their hubris in not taking proper precautions against a destructive force. I really thought the film was going to end with Nefariamus speaking inside James' head. It would have been a better, fairer movie. And even if the other side is evil, if you come _this close_ to giving them a fair portrayal, then cheat to make sure they lose in the end, are you actually surprised that they'd be angry? If you play any sports, and you cheated to win, would you expect the other team to *not* be upset with you? Plus, how do you think God is going to feel, seeing that you depicted *him* as being a cheater? A literal deus ex machina!! A mark of good character I've seen in people is that they show respect even to their enemies. You didn't. You disrespected both sides with that ending. The demons should have screwed with the film even worse than they did.

What a powerful film in the name of Jesus. I've watched it 3x over the past several months. Currently in spain visiting family and 5 of us just watched it. Then, we had a discussion on the ending part. Did the psychiatrist actually Rebuke satan entirely or was publishing the dark book - even though it was a warning - still In the favor of the evil devil? And the words the evil demon spoke to the psychiatrist, ""You have been measured in the scale and found wanting."

I have he feeling that during that interview the devil was trying to keep on doing his job, they both kept interrupting each other like if they were two kids desperate to tell a story to mom and dad.

It was a good movie but I think that the execution scene SHOULD have revealed that the warden and everyone in the room to witness the execution were all demons as well. When the demon is talking about the child sacrifices happening and how he reveled in it...they should have revealed everyone witnessing the execution were all possessed as well. It's a great story but IF demons are possessing people they're doing so to make humanity suffer on a major scale through political oppression and the financial system....not by offing 10 people.
