Nice method, never seen it before - thanks for showing. When you melt the ends and want to roll them between your fingers to make them look nice and smooth, but don't want to burn yourself, just put your fingers in a small bowl of cold water for ten or twenty seconds. I use a tealight for melting the ends, so one hand is free to cool in water - never got a burn again after developing this method.

Just finished the task and it's Great! Thank You!! I followed your exact instructions (except I used figure 8 knots as the stoppers) and the blade is far more secure than the thumb wrap. I am sure there will be more power for chopping. Starting on my second blade.

I have the tent Atacama from Redverz. The quality is poor. Customer service is a disaster. Very annoying.

are these darla lights plug and play with the bikes stock harness?

I'd be better informed if you first showed just the stock lighting low & high beams and mentioned what you're riding, before you start bringing the Darlas into it and not knowing yourself what power setting they are at.

So where do you pack it on the bike?

i have a water-cooled GS with a wonder wheel. with a "Clearwater CanOpener", i programmed the lights to 50% low beam during the day, 40% low beam during the night, 100% on high beam day or night. i can put all settings to "10" with quick program switching. the night settings work with the photo cell sensor switching.

Is this light always on ? Can't be turn off ?

Stupid tent IMO. More space for your bike than you and the price and weight is nuts. Get a Vango Pulsar 300 and have nearly the same vestibule area, lighter, better material and 3 times the sleeping area for only $200. Set up is identical. It's not quite as tall but the wind won't catch it as much either. If you buy anything that's made "specifically" for riding, expect to pay 200% more for it and it's never 1% better.

I'm looking into these tents now, pretty cool. Just don't want a storm to make you wake up with your bike on top of you lol, that'd be awkward. Does the tent fit well (compact) on the bike?

So if it is raining when you get to camp, you would need to unload onto the wet ground all the contents of your dry bag until you got to the tent on the bottom? It would be more logical to load the tent last so that it can be pitched first then the bag can go into the tent and at least have a small chance of keeping the rest of the contents dry. I assume that your hard trunk is for your clothes and cooking gear? Do you carry a cooler or a water container? Extra fuel containers? Thanks for your video. My last bike was a 1978 Honda 750F and I road it from Idaho to Montreal and then back to Seattle, Portland back to Idaho and then onto Eastern Nebraska to visit my Granny. This time I am with my two sons and they both have classic Hondas, one a 650CX Custom and a V45 Saber 750. So I am learning what to take little by little. You are a fascinating guy thanks again.
