I'd probably go a different route. Instead of a specific type, I'd run a team of different evolved Eevees. My ace would probably be either Flareon or Jolteon.

Water is my favorite type, but I think I’d either be a dark or ghost type gym leader. People tell me I look like a vampire irl and my childhood favorite pokemon was Umbreon, especially the shiny form so lord knows my team would just be all the edgy dogs and I would basically have a dog hotel as my gym ig 😂

Okay, so I've been thinking pretty hard about this and I think I've finally found my favourite type. Psychic! For my gym, my ace would be hatterene, backed up with an Indeedee to set the stage and an Armarouge for when the battle starts to get heated up!

I would be a dark or rock gym. With my ace being tyranatar.

Grass Type. I'd be running a Sunny day themed build with moves and abillities that benefit from the weather. Ace would have to be either Venusaur, Hydrapple, or Lurantis.

Steel gym. I love the galvanized square steel type

I would go with fighting type.

I’d have a mixed Pokemon team as a gym leader with Pokemon like, feraligatr, garchomp, Salamance, Gliscor, Mamoswine, Sceptile

I'd be a bit tricky about it, with all my Pokemon being dual-types. I might go with Mega Mawile as my Ace in a Steel or Fairy gym. Either that, or I'd go with a Flying-type Gym with Gyarados as my Ace, Skarmory as my pinch-hitter, and a Dartrix as my Starter.

I think it would be boring to be a gym leader tbh. Too close to a starting town means you get wayyyy too many kids with not many variations since they all get a starter and whatever they get outside the gym. Layer areas only mean you'll have to deal with bigger stronger pokemon and cocky trainers that you either wipe out entirely or get yourself wiped out with a potential pseudo legendary or dragon. Plus a lot of property damage Being a gym leader is pretty boring, dont see the point of pokemon if im not traveling and striving to be the best

It mainly came out of people liking a certain group of Pokemon and having similar types and wanting to find out how a gym leader could've reached their position to be a judge of other trainer's strengths and weaknesses. Like you'd at least have to prove your worth by beating most of the current gym leaders given there are canon events of someone replacing the gym leader after beating them so soundly.

Dark type gym and it depends on which gym badge there challenging me for. If it’s the first badge my ace would be Sandile. If it was the 5 gym badge it would be Zoroark. And if it was the eighth badge it would be Tyranitar. My full team for an all out battle would be. 1. Krookodile 2. Zoroark 3. Obstagoon 4. Kingambit 5. Hydreigon 6. Tyranitar

My type would be ground because there are a lot of cool ground type designs. My ace would be Krookodile

That sounds great, but I hope the game doesn’t get too much coverage just cause the increases the likelihood nintendo will strike it down 😭
