Hi! I am fellow speed twin 1200 owner. may i please ask, are you rocking x pipes on your ST? if so, did you notice any decrease in fuel efficiency? thanks bro!
@@jojitreyes6084 Hello, No, I only have Akrapovic slip-ons installed. I didn’t notice any significant difference in fuel efficiency.
@ thank u for you response mate! in case, you wanted to depart with your vance and hines, pls let me know
Zx4rr or daytona 660 ? Which one will be better ?
Personally id say Daytona because obv more cc , engine hella refined , less maintenance
@@gyhgaming8049 okk buddy !
good stuff!
Hello, 0 to 100?
Haven't tried but it's probably around the 3.5 second range as with bikes in its class
are there any aftermarket exhausts available for this bike?
I don't think there are at the moment
God, I'd love to ride in Southeast Asia one day. All I need is a new bike lol. Would you get the Daytona 660 or the RS660 if money wasn't a factor?
Definitely the RS660! It's lighter, more sport oriented, and I prefer the sound a 270 twin makes.
@@JinK. Thank you for the quick reply, I was thinking the same thing.
Daytona ❤
@@mastlaunda0369 Have the RS660 since last week lol, but couldn't ride it more than 1 hour due to shitty weather conditions in Germany
Super super. The ligend. 👍👍
angono! my dad lives near here. its pretty nice and scenic for rides
How is the bike, are you liking it? i'm thinking of getting one, but here in brazil they're crazy expensive
It's pretty good. I think its main selling point is the three cylinder engine and that it's a triumph. It's a trident with sport fairings, sport handlebars, and just a little more RPM. It handles better through traffic and is a little lighter compared to the cbr650.
@@JinK. Great to know! I'll have to wait 3 months for it to launch here in Brazil, i hope you post more videos with this bike!
is this a demo bike? or is it already out
it's out, you can get them in dealers already
Is exhaust sound loud enough? Can you attract people with the stock exhaust sound? Or after market exhaust is required
It’s def too quiet. You’re better off changing it if you want noise. But I’m in the minority of not wanting a loud exhaust.
Top speed ?
Haven't tried it yet since it's still in its break-in period. Other videos show it to go just above 225 kph.
229kmpl
My dream bike❤
I asked because at one point I noticed Jeepnies on the side of the road , only remember seeing those in the Philippines .
My curiosity is getting the better of me , where would this be ?
look like thailand but not sure
Decat?
Nope, just slip-on
@@JinK. sounds great man 👌🏼
@@ReinerZufallishThanks mate, safe rides!
Which exhaust is this?..im sure not the stock one
It's the Akrapovič slip-on for the speed twin
I'll put money on you coming of in the not to distant future

Can this motorbike be lowered in height? I really want to have one but my height is a problem..😔😔😔
I dont think Triumph offers lowering set-ups for the speed 900 sadly
@@JinK. Is it the same height as the Speed Twin 1200?
@@anchaglos5476 Nope! Speed twin 1200 is 809mm high, while the 900 is at 765mm. The 900 is def more friendly to short riders like me haha
@@JinK. Short body option from Triumph...lower than Kawasaki w800 Triumph street twin price in Indonesia around $19,380.36
change the rear shock
Too fast in a foggy, rainy and grey day. That´s very dangerous, you know.
Looks fine to me. Always able to see ahead enough to stop in time for obstructions. The main risk was the wet road surface (in the UK at least, there could also be potholes hidden under puddles), but once the rider established the grip level and kept his cornering smooth, there was little danger.
So nice! Love it! This sound and the smooth riding!
Glad you enjoy it!
@@JinK. Absolutely! You love the bike? This or the scrambler?
@@aldeen1982This one over the scrambler but only because the scrambler is too tall for me 😂. I love it but i’d definitely get the 1200 over this one!
@@JinK. ah okey! Why? 65 HP not enough?
It's certainly enough! I just want the louder sound and the ridiculous torque haha@@aldeen1982

Nice!
@@JinK. Hey man. Thanks for the clip. Just got mine yesterday. Normal ba na 4 bars lang natira sa temp gauge riding in the city? Coolant seems to be colorless on mine as well. Hope it's not just water they put in. 😅
@@gonzy77 4 bars din natitira sakin and I haven't had a problem with it, di ko natanong actually. Pero I haven't noticed anything unusual with the bike naman. Kahit umuulan 4 bars lang natitira. I think it's better you ask na lang sa Triumph when you get your first service :). Would like to know what they say too.
@@JinK. Thanks so much for your prompt reply man, much appreciated. Isa pang worry ko is the coolant looks to be clear (colorless), maybe just water lang nga... will bring it back in and let you know what they say. Thanks again!👍
uuhhh... So embarrassing, did a more thorough check and the coolant checks out. I'm blaming it on new bike paranoia. 😅 Gonna go jump off a bridge now... 😂
how was it compared to sv650?
It surpasses the SV in practically every aspect of riding. Comfort, handling, power, stability, grip, and features are all there. It's pretty much THE middleweight bike if you're looking for the best riding bike in its segment. The engines are different, and I appreciate the SV's low rpm power since the striple takes just a little bit longer to really pull. The seat of the striple is significantly higher, and it took some time for me to adjust since I'm not that tall (166 cm). Biggest differences I noticed are comfort, lighter kerb weight, and handlebar width. The wider handlebars of the striple make it that much more nimble and lighter to handle.
How is the stability on the Highway? I’m coming from a cruiser and I’m strongly considering this bike
It's stable enough on the highway, haven't really brought it to speeds past 180kph. Speeds below and at that it fared pretty well. I also came from a cruiser (rebel 500) before getting the sv650. It isn't really the kind of bike that would be blown around by wind since it's relatively heavy for its class at 199kg wet. What's lacking with the SV is comfort. The seat is severely lacking in foam and imo the handlebars are too narrow. Nevertheless it's a fun V-Twin that's certainly stable on the highway.
@@JinK. Thanks for the reply! I’m stuck between the sv650 and ninja 650 and I do feel a bit more comfort coming from the ninja and the extra wind protection from the ninja will probably make a difference too. Safe riding bro!
nice sound capture 👍...with a zoom h1n or other ?
Audio was taken from the GoPro covered with foam all around
Nooooice
Hell Doug. Hope you're enjoying your SV. Just bought a new blue SV 650. Love everything, but the hard seat. Have a Z900 too and this bikes is just as fun. Nice video.
Sorry man I meant HELLO Doug.
I really agree with you on the hard seat. I bought a bagster seat recently but it still hasn't arrived. Glad you liked my vid! The Z9 is also a nice bike, can't beat the inline 4 sound and smoothness when accelerating. I've recently tried nicer bikes like the Ducati Monster and the CB1000r, and I gotta say you're right on the money about this bike being just as fun! The SV just can't keep up on straight lines haha! Wish you all the best!
@@JinK. Thanks for the response. Cheers.....
