      Parker, I cut these from .119 A36/1008 mild steel sheet. The drawer slides are 100lb weight rated. I stacked one shelf with a cabinet full of my loaded organizers and it held with room to spare. You can see this working for yourself in my other videos. They work great. Thanks for commenting.

      No worries, @@MG6Makes. I was just trying to garner whether Langmuir’s tables are actually any flatter. I have heard from some that they do also have issues being low in the center…

    • @user-gz6fn2yx9f
      @user-gz6fn2yx9f 6 месяцев назад

      Lots of people are having problems with these. Fireball tool just came out with a new table. I’ll probably look at that instead of these.

    • @crazycaseyscustoms
      @crazycaseyscustoms 6 месяцев назад

      So, I gotta tell you a bit of a story, @@user-gz6fn2yx9f. I bought a pair of tables from Primeweld, and they were a mess, but they ended up refunding me, and they really listened to my feedback, and said they would fix the issues and send me a better table on their next batch. These tables (Langmuir, Primeweld, & others in the 24”x36” size @ 145 lbs) are built around the idea that they’ll ship ground, so they have to be light, and light≠rigid. I think the premise is, that for the price, they’re pretty good, but they ARE cheap. My initial quandary was that I have had nothing but trouble with Langmuir’s customer service (on my CNC plasma table), and I knew Primeweld was much better in that department. I wish my tables had been better, but Primeweld COMPLETELY stood behind their product, and they seem committed to ultimately getting it right. I’m not sure whether or not I’m supposed to let the cat out of the bag, but they are also working on a larger heavier table similar to the Fireball offering, but in the meantime, if you need a heavy, flat, rigid table, and you can afford the Fireball options, that is going to be your best bet. Primeweld’s new table is supposed to come out in the summer, and I will have an unbiased review of it on MY channel when they do. I hope MG6Makes is ok with the self-promotion; I initially came here to these comments just completely curious about whether or not I would have been better or worse if I had ordered the Langmuir Systems Arc Flat tables, and before I had even talked to Primeweld about the less than satisfactory tables I had initially received… Anyway, that’s just one perspective, so please take it with a grain of salt.

    • @melgross
      @melgross 5 месяцев назад

      Primeweld has a table that has the same casting, but the bottom where the kegs go are machines, it’s nitrided, has better legs and actually costs less.

  • @RustysMetalCutSignsDesigns

    Nice job. How do you find the Razor Weld 45...I have the same Jasic machine, marketed in Australia as a Unimig Razor Cut 45. Be careful of the duty cycle because I'm having issues with it on long cuts. It has 100% DC at 22.5amps, 60% at 34.8amps and only 25% at 45amps. So if you want to cut at 45amps, it can only cut for 2.5 mins in a 10 minute period. One of my recent cuts was over 40 mins, but it actually took over 2 hours in total because I had to dial down the amps (and cutting speed) and I had to keep stopping the program every 5 mins to let the cutter cool down for 5 mins, then go again. My new cutter has arrived, so I'm hoping these issues are behind me now.

    • @MG6Makes
      @MG6Makes 7 месяцев назад

      Thank you. Mine is only a 33x48 machine, so it would be rather difficult to find a model that would take longer than the duty cycle to cut. I am a hobbyist, not a business. If I were running a business I would have an industrial quality machine with a large Hypertherm 105 cutter. Also, I have mitigation tactics in play with a temperature controlled fan that turns on with the air compressor and blows on the compressor and plasma cutter machine. Also, most of my materials are 11ga ⅛" or thinner and I only need to run the machine at 30-35amps to get dross free quality cuts. The duty cycle from the manual is PLASMA CUT DUTY CYCLE @ 40°C  25% @ 45A. So, I am well within the specification for my use cases.

    • @RustysMetalCutSignsDesigns
      @RustysMetalCutSignsDesigns 7 месяцев назад

      My table has a cut area of 52" x 52", so I can slide a full sheet onto the table, cut it in half, then set the half sheet on the table. I realise your table is smaller, but if you were cutting an intricate piece, it could take a while. It sounds like you have got things covered with the temperature controlled fan, so that will greatly help with controlling the temperature of the plasma cutter. I started out as a hobbyist, but things sort of grew and grew!!

    What metal makes it green?

    • @MG6Makes
      @MG6Makes 8 месяцев назад

      The plasma goo is green. The product is called Plasma Green 1050. It is a rush inhibitor so the table doesn't get super nasty. I mixed it higher than 5% because when my new tank arrives I'll add more water to the mixture.
