Serpent tanto style rules. Also can someone please explain why the sheath has removed the coloration from my blade. A 300$ knife should be at least as friction resistant as a boker. I literally just have it in a collection and I get sad every time I see the state of its finish.

Idk bout tantos. Really into beefy knives, ones that got weight like medfords, hoping toor can design a heavy fixed blade later on

My favorite knife design by far from toor is the MUF Diver. Just wish the blade was longer, thicker and the full tang was full

I have had a problem with my sheath. The inner friction leather comes off too easily and its hard to reindex without knife damaging the inside and glue getting on the blade. What do I do? Are there any non friction sheaths I can get?

Does the 1 hour in 400° in the oven count as part of the tempering?

This is not a new concept. I have seen rings on the back of daggers and even rondalls from hundreds of years ago, and ring knives were even more common outside of Europe, mostly in the east.

The suede is nice until the adhesive softens up and it’s impossible to sheath your knife. I had to pick out the suede and run a thinner through the sheath to keep my blade from being sticky.

For long-term storage, I like putting a thin film of food grade lithium grease such as Super Lube. I used to be a mechanic but no longer wrench and had troubles with tools rusting. I’ve used all the lubes, oils etc still rusted. Until I started putting the lithium grease on everything, works great.
