I use a zip tie on my saw handle for measuring and I've noticed I still make marking cuts then go back and do a final cut.

Free wood is the best kind Tyler . All splitters tend to break every now an then you will have it all back to good in no time at all . Thanks for the shout out great bunch of channels you have on the fridge .

Nice bucking and splitting day. I see many different tools on channels for marking logs. Depending on what your goal is with your firewood, some tools are faster and easier than others. We sell bulk campfire wood that we just estimate cut and bagwood that we measure a little more accurately. Stay safe and hydrated, hot weather coming our way.

Farming an firewood sound like a good mix to me . I love the smell of fresh corn silage in the fall .

Having a loader is a big help . Gota love ash ,stuff is almost dry when ya cut it down i wish we got more of it .
