I saw them open for Journey on their Anyway You Want It tour, maybe 1980? And they were a really solid live band. You could tell they played a lot of live shows, you can just tell a well oiled rock machine. The one thing I still remember is them playing some song, and then stopping it and asking the crowd if they like them to play it twice as fast. Yeah, F yeah!!! And they kept doing that and going a little faster each time, till at the end it was this song at breakneck speed almost flying off the rails but somehow staying on the tracks. It was really cool feature to their show, it was like their show stopper. It worked I didn't know much about them then but I still remember that bit. Journey was superior musically though they were heavyweights, and Steve Perry was in his very prime and he was magic personified. Great show, Nassau Coliseum NY same place I saw The Police Ghost In The Machine tour. Don't even get me started on that show, what a band.

This is what I'm talking about, as a woman who grew up in the 70s and 80s, I love listening to Def Leppard's first, second and third albums, On Through the Night, High 'n' Dry and Pyromania to me are their best music that I ever herd from the Band. 🤘 🤟Rest in Peace Steve Clark. 🤟 And it's also great music for cruising around in your car. 🤗
