Horizontal drilling for weeping tile

Had water coming in basement on the side of house with an addition, reason being because we couldn’t dig with the machine under there when we excavated the rest of the perimeter. Figured it would be fine but the water has been persisting, so the solution was to use a rigid 700 hand pipe threader as a drill to bore horizontally and insert weeping tile pipe under addition beside footing.

Skidsteer Restoration in 6 minutes CASE 1845C
Very good job. The only advice i can offer you is be carefull when runing a south bend in reverse. You can have the chuck spin off on you and have a major crash. You might already know this if so happy turning. I love my old southben. Ive had it for over 10 years and have made mini things with it.
Cool project. That dude has a nice garden!
We run 4 of them on our farm, they work amazing. 2 1840’s , 2 1845c’s. My husband and boys love using them. I’m more astonished at how much abuse the one of them has taken. We regularly service them and we have one at 21000 hrs, other old one at 11,000, both still have original everything
Nice
Excellent travail, dommage que tout le haut soit fermé, vous pourrez aménager à l'avenir.
Why that tile be cryin
What is that material you've used on the walls...Your setup is so complete and well thought out. Great job!!!
That is 7/16” plywood osb, with preattached tin foil covering, it’s usually used for sheeting a roof as it helps reflect heat supposedly, I got a decent deal on it and didn’t have to paint the walls this way. Which is why I went this route.
Hi, On the fab table ... What is the thickness and also what is your offset on the holes?
The top is 3/8” and the sides are 1/4” thick, the holes are about 3” apart I believe
Wow what an amazing difference! A whole lot of determination and hard work! I can't believe that sidewalk went back together so nice! I had a 30x40 pole building put up in 2010 to store a boat and a few other things. We wired everything just to have it in under the concrete. The boat is gone and now it is a workshop, wood, metal and mechanical shop. The building just has house wrap from when they built it. I would love to insulate it and finish the walls and ceiling, but I don't think I have it in me. I would have to buy or rent a 40' container, maybe 2 just to store everything. I have a 100k propane bullet heater that heats it right now, but it makes everything wet.
Thank you, that sounds like it would make an awesome shop
great video, good work!!!i watched the video in 0,5 playback speed...the time lapse is very fast, the content is very interesting and not boring at all...
Thanks, glad you liked the video
@@PrecisionWeldandFab actually,i am still watcing it...greetings from Greece
I have to rebuild my case 1840, sure wish they had access panel on the bottom like the 1845 does
1845c was one of my favorite machines to operate. Good controls, plenty of power and pre emissions to boot.
We just bought a 1845c and I love it. Such a solid beefy machine
Nice job! You’ll get years of great use of that machine.
The absolute worst thing you can do in a skid steer is push with the bucket in the position he has it at 6:00 that is a sure fire way to bend a hydraulic cylinder rod
You Gotta be real proud of that nice Machine 👍
Great work! Its much easier watching you guys do it 👍
Looks and sounds great!
Like new! That unit will last you a lifetime. How much did you wind up putting into it? We have an older gehl I will have to rebuild one day because no way am I buying a new one.
fantastic video, thanks for sharing it with us
Nice job. Did you buy spray cans from Case? Or what brand of paint did you use?
Iam in the process of doing an 1845 c it's a little older brown cab but was curious how you where able to move it freely do you have to pull all the chains or is there another way
How did you build the door for it? Do you have a video or something to do that?
The door and enclosure is clear plastic that I ordered online
well done for a good resto.
Holy schmoley that’s well done!
im jealous. my case needs help
In Germany we say: "Paint is the best Mechanic."
What kind of belt did you guys use, we have the exact sane same steer, but the belt is tricky
Love how the video wasn’t 50 parts . Great work
Beautiful job !!! Im just starting on an 1845c that is in a little better shape then this one... But, it lived outside even since new so every bolt has to be cut off and hoses are shot !!n Thanks for a Great Video....
Very good vid.I love this kind of shop work.I have see a few 1845's for sale.I found a immaculate, original machine with 1800 hrs from new.PRICE 30,000,00 Can.I only here great things about these old gems.
👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
awesome looks great
Great job !! Quests : where did u find case stickers and how much you paid for it ? Cuz I'm looking for case 95xt and it costs approximately 90-100$
Got them online but can’t remember how much or where from
Great job! Looks amazing. I've got an 01 1845C with 2830 hrs on it. Looking forward to enjoying it for many years to come!
Just wondering what colour and make of paint you used, I cannot locate rattle cans in Case power tan Thanks in advance Jeff
You probably won’t be able to find it, I had to bring a piece off the machine to local paint shop and get them to match it
Ok…thank you for such a quick reply…..Jeff
So good looking how well does the job you did hold up? I just acquired and 1840 from my great uncle who just passed the other day 😥. I’d like to get his redone/restored. Where you located any interest in doing the job again? I’m in MN.
It’s holding up good, and no not likely this was more of a personal project
Is there anyway you could share the link to the cab enclosure?! The door and side pieces? I have the same machine and would love to get those for mine.
Loaderpartssource.com Part # LPS135221A1
Great video. What overhead are you using?
We used an aluminum A Frame to lift the cab off as well as a chain fall
@@PrecisionWeldandFab yes I noticed it was aluminum…..I was just curious If you knew brand or maker. Thanks for your response
Robert Keime oh yeah that one is homemade
@@PrecisionWeldandFab thanks for the information. You guys did great job on crane.
Very nice sir!
we run the same machine at our shop
Good job
Dirt can be pumped out using a dirty water motor pump and a Bagermaster suction nozzle
03:22 WOW.. what a difference?! When you started it up, sounded really nice. I was also very surprised you managed to find a kit to seal it up, being it was as old as it is What an awesome job you guys did! How much money did you end up putting into it? I'm curious if you were able to refurbish a lot of stuff? or did you end up having to buy new hydraulic motors for the wheels? or what happened? (I looked in the description didn't see any details)
That Cummin engine is pretty common and parts are everywhere for it,
Nice to see, Manitoba boys doing good work.
If you could do jt over would you still get older machine and rebuild vs newer machine? Pros and cons?
Good question. Yes it’s a lot of work. But hard to find a good machine that you know inside and out for $6000 plus $8000 for parts. Equals $14,000 in total. Free labour though! You have to enjoy the labour part. It’s all about price, if you can find one that needs less repairs for the right price that’s a good thing. Keep your eyes out and keep crunching numbers. Ask a lot of questions to the seller to get a good idea/feel of what they are selling. Follow your gut, if it doesn’t feel right don’t buy it
Hola amigos.necesito uno de esos.cuanto vale puesto en chile?
demasiado pesos...
This is a great video, thank you for sharing! I see the pistons have marring on the sides but what specifically was causing the knock?
The piston rings were seized on a couple of the cylinders likely cause the farmer that had it before us used ether to start it start regularly so that caused most of the scarring, but since the rebuild it’s been running great
What are the real hours spent on that Job ? Great work..
I want to say roughly 100-150 hours, over the course of a month and a bit
Where did you get the new glass?
It’s an enclosure from loader part source online, and it’s not glass it’s plastic
Where’d you get the decals from?
I think they are from Amazon
