Dan Folino singing "Confrontation" from Jekyll and Hyde. This production was completely overhauled from top to bottom. Jekyll was no longer portrayed as a dashing scientist and Hyde as a snarl toothed monster...instead, Jekyll was played as a tormented and crippled man, physically and emotionally. He suffered from Asperger's syndrome, Parkinson's disease, social anxiety and obsessive compulsive...

Dr. Henry Jekyll y Mr. Edward Hyde ❤❤❤
Dr. Henry Jekyll y Mr. Edward Hyde ❤❤❤
Dr. Henry Jekyll y Mr. Edward Hyde ❤❤❤
Dr. Henry Jekyll y Mr. Edward Hyde ❤❤❤
this hyde reminds me of the grinch!
Great :D
What happens with his hands?
Wow! This gets it just right for me, the mix of jaunty delight and venom. Too often, Hyde comes across as righteously indignant at the Bishop's behavior, while it's clear here that he's taunting the Bishop to torment him and that if the Bishop had really been there for innocent purposes, it wouldn't have made the least difference to Hyde.

I Love this, But the single Fact that I can't tell if the Person in the mirror is a Puppet or another actor kinda makes me laugh
dit is echt super creepy Hyde is de meester van Jekyll geworden en heerst over hem echt heel eng allemaal
he looks pretty sexy with loosed hair and hat on grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
I do not know why I love so much Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde especialy this last one!! so sexy with long hair, I want another with Dangerous Game and This is the moment please!! where is Dan Folino from? is true Mr. Hyde did rape Lucy?
I love how you made the cane's head resemble the devil's head and had Mr. Hyde stroke it when he was singing that line.
He is seriously the best Jekyll/Hyde I have seen on stage. The new key makes it infinitely more sinister, and I prefer Hyde being the suave one. Utterly brilliant job, seriously gives Warlow a run for his money.
Why do I get the feeling that HYDE is acting like the Grinch acted by Jim carry at the first two parts
I love how Jekyll is the tormented and crippled one, it is relieved from that when turning into Hyde. It gives so much more meaning to "Alive".
Love this version sooo much!
God, most chilling rendition I've seen since Warlow's. Absolutely amazing job.
SomethingFishy101 wait who's that up there turn left and right?
i like this very creepy that is haping in Jekyll´s head
reminds me of the constantine one
I love how you had him steal his hat and cane!
This reminds me of the movie The Two faces of Dr. Jekyll, which also portrayed Jekyll and Hyde like this!
I like it, but it's strange since you protrayed Hyde and Jekyll excactly the opposite ways: In the novel HYDE is the crippled man.
Maybe the reason they did that was to make it so Jekyll had a reason to keep returning to being Hyde... to feel powerful and not crippled.
Yeah, but Jekyll actually never wanted to be Hyde. Hyde simply took over whenever he wanted to punish Jekyll's enemies.
This is one of the best versions of this song.
SUCH A LUST FOR REVENGE WHOOOOOOOOOO
@dpf143 can u PLZ do lost in the darkness???
This is a truly incredible variation of the play, character and performance of the song. Instead of the grand spectacle of the song usually seen in the Broadway adaptation, it's simply the scientist doing his work and believing in himself that his solution is finally (what he hopes and thinks) is at hand.
+Justin Totino (Mister J) i agree
Why is there no fire?
Haunted Amusement! the constantin alive reprise had no fire and i think it works
shadow strike It still needs it.
not really
shadow strike First off, it's a really cool effect. Second, it shows Hyde as being hellish and demon-like. Lastly, it ends the first act with a climatic bang!
i agree but not every alive reprise has to have it
We saw the SAME thing!!! We got it on camera too. We're right on sloane in those high rise apts and we're up 8 floors, and it was right by our apt! It's insane! If you go to Nickslick777's page, his video is uploaded there too if you wanna compare. Crazy!
Sigh.
lmao
I laugh until I almost choke when hearing this
@dpf143 I would like to see "the way back"
Wonderful! I love the bit of humor at 1:25 :)
I Really love the aproach on this. I always thought Edward Hyde should be more smooth talking. Certaintly no gentleman, but seems younger than Jekyll in his movements , which is how the novella describes him. Excelent job!
Dan Folino is a god.
OH - I WANT TO SEE THE PART WHERE YOU ROCK ONSTAGE!!!!!!!!! And if you ever need a muse again, I can teach you how to flap! Flapping is essential. I can't picture you flapping, though.
Flapping? Like autistic stimming? I’m autistic
Is "all of it" an option? If not, then I totally want to see the part where you are arguing with yourself. I should know the name of the song. The one where you flip back and forth between Jekyll and Hyde and it's super cool? And it was the most funnest lights cues ever that I ever got to push the button for. BTW - I have songs to add to your Super Deluxe Darcy Request CD Boxed Set. I can't remember if I had "Hallelujah" on there, and of course, "Storybook Story" from Princess Bride :-)
@DarcyJ76 No Equus archival was taken. Sadly. Anything else from Jekyll you want to see?
Omg, Dan Folino, this is you, yes? I have been wanting to see this performance again forever and you rule for posting it. Now, I request Equus with those blurry spots over the Not Rated D for Darcy Parts.
