Let’s get baked,Lazy loaf 5 step guide.
1. "Rise and Shine... Eventually."
2. "Knead to Relax? We've Got You Covered."
3. "Loafing Around, One Sourdough at a Time."
4. "We're Not Lazy, We're Just on Sourdough Time."
5. "Flour Power: Fueling Your Procrastination, One Loaf at a Time."
Recipe:
400 ml water
100 g of sourdough starter
Pinch of salt
3.5 cups of flower
Instructions:
Mix dry and wet ingredients together letting the dough come together.
Let rest covered for an hour.
Second hour first stretch and fold
3rd hour stretch and fold
4th hour stretch and fold
5hr stretch and fold
Let sit covered for a hour.
6.5hr time to shape
Place in fridge covered for 8/12 hr to finish proof and fermentation.
Bake:
Take out dough from fridge. Let rest for 30min before baking
Heat over to 460f with Dutch oven inside to heat up as well
Score your dough place in Dutch over with lid on.
Place in oven 45min. First 20 lid on second 25 min uncover to finish browning …
Let cool then cut!

@ may I ask at what stage do you add your inclusions?
@ yes of course, I add them in the 4th and final stretch and fold. I let it finish bulk fermenting with the dough before shaping .

@@eclecticliving2021 it turned out great. Since the garlic was only inside the dough it didn’t burn .. I’ll be posting the video soon

@@latenightgroove the pot with the lid on for 20min in the oven helps steam the bread and makes it rise up. Take the top off for the last 25 min in the oven and that with give you a nice crispy golden crust 🔥🤌🏽

@ if you’re only making bread like once a week it wouldn’t be that often probably just feed it once the night before to make sure it’s active. I bake pretty often so I’m constantly feeding it to make sure it awake and ready to go! 😄

@ I don’t use a set recipe I just base mine off of the texture. I like a nice thick pancake batter. I use all purpose flour and purified water. I feed it based off the amount of bread I’m making that week.

@ yes that is correct. I stated this one Oct 2024 with one cup water one cup flour. Then kept feeding it once a day or more if I make more bread

Bake 45 min at 460 f. After the the first 20 min take the top off the Dutch oven and let it finish browning for the next 25min
