Video of drive up and back on the Trans-Alta Trail and briefly in Margaret Lake. Footage taken with my Dad's LR3 edited with some other videos from the day.
At 13:20 the spotting didn't change a thing 😂 maybe 1/4" but wasn't necessary
Would you be kind enough to provide me with the assembly instructions for the A-Bar, I bought a used one and I don't know how to install it without it
What causes the whining sound? Is it the transfer case?

I just bought an LR3 and was watching videos, soon as your video ended up in the open area I almost jumped up I knew exactly were you are hahahaha, any FB groups for LR3S or landrovers for our area?

It's good but the driver is to learn to speed up more seriously I done better than this with my Freelander 2

Excellent video of a really well wheeled LR3 :-)
Whoever is driving it needs to understand how a little speed and momentum would help you over the obstacles. Like getting out of the rivers. Go at it at snails pace and get stuck or hit it at 3~5mph and get out.
Whack a locker on the rear and it would climb out of the river so much easier
He has no idea of momentum. You can't get grip on something that has no grip. You see, as soon as he hits it with a little speed it goes up.

Impressive wading in the previous clip..A word of warning though watch out for water getting into the turbo booster which will cause a sudden loss of power which can be frightening on a busy road. Some underbody protection would be useful on these rocky trails.
I have flood waded to 500 mm and got on well in the snow with Pirelli Scorpions. Didn't feel 100% with the hill decent system though nor in mud!
What kind of tyres on this freelander??
To be a very passable car He would have a 3 cm body lift. Tenacious tires, profile 70-75. You drove him well) Freelander can do a lot, but here I feel sorry for him ... Aren't you afraid of a water hammer?))))
