A gentle reminder mam...i think there's a problem in including reciprocal cross...the no. of total cross should be 42 instead of 47(which is in your lecture). I think you have also selfed with parents 3,4,5,6 & 7...do correct me if I am wrong

I have one question, can residual value be negative?
Residual effect means the role of other possible independent variables which were not included in the study on the dependent variable Yes, value can be negative but it is considered as inadequate fit model. Normally, It ranges from zero (perfect fit) to one (very poor fit). The value of a well-fitting model should be < .05.
