This particular model is very much cheating as it is a Pocher kit that i am building and modifying. plus its 1931 version so its not even Edwardian! Its a model I have had for quite a long time, which I decided to build whilst I seek an appropriate Edwardian car to work on next. Hope you enjoy the videos.

Really enjoy your videos. Grat for learning scratch building. I have a Pocher T50 kit, where leaf springs are blade by blade as you have made. Plan to tackle it once my training period with smaller kits hav e made me gain enough experience
Would you claim your items are as good or better than the ModelMotorcars items? Would you consider selling parts?
@@ekspatriat essentially, I am a scratch builder , if you look at my earlier cars, they are all built from scratch and they are to my knowledge, unique. I am applying my skills to this kit for my own benefit. I cant really comment on ModelMotorcars parts. As you will see as the model progresses, I want things to look the same as the original car and I am making changes based on studying many pictures. I used to run an Edwardian vehicle restoration workshop and am very familiar with the engineering standards and capabilities of the time. I have no intention of making for sale. I am retired and sctatchbuilding is my hobby. Thank you for your interest in my work. Hopefully, when I have finished all of the components for my replacement front axle it will look great.
Glad you pronounce Pocher the way I do. Nigels Modelling Bench guy pronounces it 'POKKER'...it makes me wince.
I have the 'Muletto' which is identical except for things like no mudguards and headlights. I've owned it since 1993. I presume you are aware of 'ModelMotocars' which caters for these classic kits? They stock all authentic scale fasteners as well as many many replacement assemblies and items. (Even leaf spring kits). I have been buying bits for my Alfa over the years so as to not think about overall cost. One thing I am not bothering about is the engine internals as they are absolutely NOT representative and gimmicky. May I ask if you have the early metal spoked wheels or the horrible plastic 'cost saving' items? Even the wheels and 'proper' tyres are available from MM. Regards.
@@ekspatriat yes, I have come across model motor cars, however it is my intention to make lots of more representative components . Normally, I build vehicles from scratch so can do a lot inthe machine shop. Building is a passion for me and oerticuoarly building from scratch scratch. This week, I have made new foot pedals and made 15 or so bolts to hold the rear bodywork on. I have drilled 14ba bolts to allow me to add the locking wire seen on most cars. Currently looking at the front axle to improve its looks.

In which scale are these beautiful scale models?
the Arrol Joihnson and Panhard are 1/12, the last vehicle is 1/8 scale.

I'm Italian, don't speak a good english, your work is fantastic, i work at American brass cars era in 1:20 scale in brass and wood, my project, now i have under construction a 1903 Ford A and C and 1911 Maxwell AB.
