Nice FL trip. You got me missing those peas. That hair jig bite is plenty fun too. I don’t know what it is about those peacocks, but they definitely tear up that thumb. Heal that up as you head north.

Those peacock bass are super aggressive my goodness haha! It isn’t a KingFishOutdoors special without finding lures yet again. Cool to also see you use the fly rod as well will be looking forward to more of that finesse fishing in the future 👊🎣🔥

I caught a 12-1/2" bluegill out of a Missouri pond when I was a kid. I wish I would have had it mounted.

Ive caught several blue gill larger that that

That's big but I have definitely caught blue gill that big. I love the fight. I welcome all fish.

My dad stocked his pond back 2001 and after about 5 years of constant feeding and catching smaller ones and eating them, we had tons of giant blue gill, also some massive catfish and bass! But several people started sneaking on our land and fishing so we lost a ton of fish! Miss those days!

Used to catch them like that all day at a local lake then people found out and overfishing happened

Good job guys. Fun day Of fishing looked like. I'd say yall had about a little over 13 lbs there. Potomac teams that bag would put you around mid pack probably 40th or so out of 100. Just needed those 2 kickers to put you in the check line
