Love ghost Grune. It's a great "recycle" of the standard version. He does leave me yearning for the astral plane Lion-O that we missed out on last year though. Just think a few hundred more Cats Lair orders and the Astral Lord would soon be headed our way! Still, I am looking forward to Tygra's lab...and the key! Rewatched Safari Joe today which left me thinking that he would make a nice addition to the Ultimates baddies. He was actually one of the more formidable villains as it turns out. He would probably need to come with Mule too. If you haven't watched that episode in a while you should check it out. It's hilarious how Joe captures Panthro. Major plot armour!! Still holding my breath for that Slithe compatible Nose Diver! It needs to happen!

Great figure Eggman. Still debating if I even should get it. As the one that is actually necessary and part of the main cast is Ghost Jaga but Brian made it Limited figure & now going for $300.

I use boxes it protects the black sleeves boxes. Recently all have come damaged from shipping because of this

Great review and thanks for the tip on getting that lasso to stay in place. You were very kind to Mattel. The S7 Wily Kat blows theirs out of the water! Not even close. I think the new Kit and Kat figures prove that nothing is off the table when it comes to fine details and delicate cartoon accuracy. Super 7 has arrived!! I still love my old LJNs but they are ridiculously clunky compared to the modern versions and S7 has achieved the definitive Thundercats line. Let's just hope they keep cranking them out!

Nice review. Still loving this line! My Ghost Grunes came in earlier this week and looked fantastic. It surprised me because I figured the light effect Mumm-Ra and Lion-O would come in first. Have to admit that I was a little disappointed with SDCC. I know you can't reveal a Cat's Lair every year but I was hoping we'd see something from Tigersharks or at least a new Silverhawk wave. What did you think of the Mondo Lion-O? All I see are dollar $ign$! It does give me hope for a 40th anniversary coronation Lion-O Ultimate. Good to see you. Keep up the great work!

Only figure I don’t have and now he’s sold out everywhere. I had to prioritize money for my mother’s cancer treatment and missed out but that’s a trade I will make every time.

About the light up eyes LION-O , I saw the render and noticed both heads are light up, I hope they release a non light up normal head with it as well,

D&D North Lord ... the helmet that Brian referred to.... I had that figure and understood Brian's point 100%.

.... I still have a faint hope that Super 7 or someone (i.e., Ramen Toy) would make a "repair kit" for the Thundertank so that: 1) the trends will actually roll easily; and 2) the interior of the tank can be modified after the gun is taken out, like new seats for figures.

Yo Egg! Hope all is good. I recently saw those light up figure reveals and I was wondering if you could tell me, from previous experience, what it's like ordering exclusives from the Super7 website. Do they sell out ridiculously quick or do they keep the item available for a certain period of time before taking the item down? In other words, is there enough time for everyone who knows about and wants the item to put an order in? I know that it won't be a month long period but do they make a certain amount based on how many orders they receive or is it already a certain amount available before they run out? I hope this makes sense. I'd like those two figures but I worry that they may run out before I can get them. If they are available to order for the whole day then that will be fine. I'm also wondering what the cost will be.

Moving forward WWMTCs there's some questions I'd like you to ask Brian next vid hopefully you can. 1. Out of the releases thus far which one sold more than you expected? 2. You hinted at another single character wave like Mandora, care to elaborate? 3. How many waves do you have planned out now? 4. How does the research go into finding new characters and turning figures? 5. Which obscured character do you still have on your mind you want to make? 6. 31:51 Did you notice that was the second time Flynn mentioned Safari Joe isn't in wave 11, and not adding in wave 12; so it's totally looking like they'll be in that wave. *REALLY looking forward to Ro-Bear Bill being announced tomorrow. Hopefully they'll be the first Berbil to come out.

Circling back to the removable Hachiman helmet thing, I think it could've worked. They have a pretty streamline head, so no wild hair or anything. I'm thinking about figures with removable helmets like Han Stormtrooper, Lando skiff guard, Leia as Boushh; and those all worked. The helmet would've had to be made of a pretty soft thin PVC, but I think it'd be feasible without looking off. But I certainly don't know since I'm just drawing conclusions based off other figures.

21:48 What would've been nice is including a helmet accessory for Hachiman, then ditching the redundant sword (which I'm not sure why that was included). The best option would've been removable face/hair pieces (similar to what Figuarts and other import companies do), so we could have all the options. Like having them with the gritted teeth look holding the helmet, wearing the helmet with the stern expression, etc. I know that's a whole lot more engineering; so that's why I say if a headless helmet was included instead of the extra sword, it would've been great.

Do you think there will be any more chances to get in-demand early wave characters like Slithe for example? I just found out out about this line and he's like over $100 on ebay already, meanwhile they got the "reptilians" which are almost identical but tbh, I really just want the main characters, not trying to go crazy here.

Then why is Vultureman f8gure so tall ???? That is strictly out of scale.

Brian are you familiar with that final form mummra? That would indeed sell and no he doesnt have to be fifty feet tall theres a medium size version of him in multiple episodes hes basically looks like hes on the juice times 5 and a more demonic face.

For bonus items for pre-ordering waves from Super 7 direct . . . I'll drop my money on day one if instead of bonus heads and hands you can give a prop or something from the show. A candy fruit tree, a weapons stand, an artifact from the show etc. More hands and hands just get stored away with no use.

Thanks for doing these Thundercats focused interviews with Brian. I love the TC Ultimates line. And Silverhawks. And Joes. I'm here for all my favs from back in the day properties as action figures in animation form! Next time remind Brian that there's even some of us down for Tigersharks, and if we can wish big . . . Thundarr the Barbarian main trio!

I've never had a problem getting any of my Thundercats in fact I have 2 or more of each but i always go to bbts but so many great properties out at the same time that i rather pay 1st and not have the headache of having to be ready when they start coming, can't wait for SDCC and the Cats lair to arrive 🎉 Thundercats Hooooo!!!!!!!
