Testing different materials and brands with food dye, turmeric, curry powder and beat root. I think the food dye overpowered everything else in this test however a good watch and education on what is being marketed as highly stain resistant is really as bad as marble. I respect granite in the test results, however the downside of granite is that they are mainly darker colours. Quartzite is also...

    Would prefer the porcelain but at double the price of standard ceaserstone could not justify spending close to $10,000 on a kitchen benchtop.

    Does porcelain come with a naturally shiny surface? I was after a matt look. Does porcelain come in a matt finish and would it have the same properties stain resistance wise?

    Thank you. I've been quoted almost double the price for a porcelain benchtop to a standard Ceaserstone benchtop. I have been holding back but I think you made my mind up. Thanks for the demonstration.

    Well explained. Do you make the porcelain benchtop or do you buy it from China where one can't figure out what chemicals went into it?

      Sounds like you have opinions however there is no Porcelain Slab Manufacturing currently in Australia and all our porcelain slabs are CSIRO tested and imported.

    It is awesome that you guys do full kitchens. Your products look great too. As part of kitchen remodelling, do you remove existing walls, even load bearing ones? Do you construct new walls to accommodate white goods?

  • @stopabuslane
    @stopabuslane 11 месяцев назад

    Engineered stone is fine if it's wet cut according to procedures. But construction industry doesn't follow procedures so we have to get rid of it. You're advising people to change their benchtops just because disposal might be expensive? Seems pretty weak justification.

      If you say so and if that’s what you understood 👍🏻👍🏻 Not here and not in business to argue with people who choose to kill them selves over profits and materials. We are only brave enough to put our face forward and make these videos in educating the willing people and not the unwilling. Everyone is free to feel and think as they please.

    Well explained. My sister put me into you. Will keep in mind for possible future update of our wet areas. We have black granite with copper flecks in the kitchen, which cost a fortune, so am a little hesitant to replace this. Bathrooms/laundry have a lighter/creamy marble..

      For a porcelain benchtop? Caesarstone/Neolith Porcelain Slabs are on average $2400 + GST EACH SLAB. Lets presume you were doing a Porcelain Benchtop. $2400 x 2 = $4800 + GST as you require 2 slabs on average without the cost of your machinery, wages & expenses. So half the price of $5000 for a porcelain benchtop is $2500. Lets presume this is + GST, Your experience must be limited to doing kitchenettes, not kitchens. Unless you were talking about Engineered Stone. Engineered stone slabs vary between $400 - $800 depending on range. For you to be promoting CHEAP prices like this, you must have NO CNC technology, No advanced Measuring Systems and be cutting and polishing ONSITE exposing your self, staff and clients to Crystalline Silica Dust Particles at those prices voiding any safety concerns. Might be fuelling the current issues with why so many young people in QLD are falling ILL to Silicosis Disease at the cost of bragging about being able to do a benchtop for HALF the cost 😵‍💫😵‍💫

      Hey Guzin, it’s taken us 5 years to perfect it. For beginners, I do say, make sure you stick to reputable suppliers who supply porcelain. There’s many kinds of porcelain, sometimes batch to batch can vary too, so you need to test each batch and slab to set your PSI, speed and garnet ratio accordingly. Feel free to call me for further info if you like. Kemal Efe
