Deadlifts with resistance band in front
Просмотров 8321 день назад
Banded Deadlift Drill One of my online clients said on her deadlifts the bar has a tendency to get away from her and she doesn't maintain contact of the barbell with the body during the whole deadlift. This drill is great to help with this and more. This banded deadlift variation is great for a few important things. 1. Learning to create and keep lat tension. 2. Keeping the bar close to and in ...

Sound quality poor, i stuck it out but started this response 5 seconds in. Get better audio and I'm in. 👍
To achieve what they want to achieve here it isn't necessary to walk it out.
Sei una donna??
Love this, I’m doing a challenge to do my first pull ups in 30 days 🎉
as an older woman, i found the belt to be a game changer for me
Good sensible advice without being a show off drug user.Inspiring to see.
This was what I needed, thank you!
Great tip! 👍 I will start with the dead hang and hold for 30-45 seconds.
love this! Will definitely incorporate them once my wrist is all healed enough to start training again! Thanks, Coach!
Happy to hear this and thank you! Heal fast.
@@womenwholiftweights thank you!
Appreciate the tips!
Hi coach ✌🏽 I just started my 1st day, July 1. I’m wondering what is the cardio for this challenge?
Thankyou!
“B U L L S H I T……. IF you need to DROP the weight then you should NOT try to LIFT it as the WEIGHT should be LOWERED EXACTLY THE WAY THAT IT IS LIFTED………. THIS will strengthen your back TEN FOLD……. IF you don’t believe me look up Mike Mentzer’s ‘HEAVY DUTY’ way of training…..!?!?!? S E R I O U S L Y……,!!!! Which PROVES beyond a doubt that ANYBODY who NEEDS to drop the weight should NOT be lifting it in the first place……!?!?! 🤔👍
Thank you for this information
Love this channel so much! I'm back to lifting after a long break and this is a great reference thanks!
that is not benching💀🙏
I watch you and Megsquats . Ive only been doing eccentrics but your explanation makes so much sence about training my static holds in bottom, top and midway position of the pull up. After 5 weeks i got my nose to the bar 😮Im 55 years old and my goal is to get 10 pullups. Ive tried wirh bands for years with no results. Im so grateful for these videos . Especially the cues you explain about the core, elbows and belly button ro the sky . And training the holds to strenthen grip and muscle fireing in the back/ lats. I know my first full pull up is weeks away 😊
I used bands for years off and on and the assistant pull up machine for years and could never get a pull up. Once I started doing eccentrics I got a pull up in 5 weeks where I got my nose to the bar . I'm almost there . !! Maybe two more weeks and I think I'll have my first pull up .
Greay tips. Thanks!
Great advice. Thanks!
Helpful! Thank you!
Is it ok if i don't know how to do that jacked up back position on bench during the exercise? I'm a woman and see that most women do that but my body does not bend that way. I don't know how to drive thru the legs or anything either, i just use upper body cuz i can't figure out any other way
Invaluable info for me--just starting sumo! Thank you, Coach Rob!
Tungsten plates
I prefer the kilo powerlifting plate. since they're thinner the weight feels more focused towards the center which feels more comfortable.
Yup you are absolutely right!
Thanks, Coach Rob! Been thinking it might be time for me to use a belt and you answered my questions. Now just have to choose one!
Great way to explain! I will keep trying and hopefully using your advice will get me there! Thanks!
Yes! I NEVER use clips when benching!
Love this series, coach. Thank you! More people need to see these ❤
ahh thank you! Hope it helped you. Going to promote it next week along with our first ever WWLW Pull Up Challenge!
This is great. Thank you!
You're very welcome!
Poor woman. She's so hairy.
Can’t wait for your suggestions that don’t use bands. Thanks!
So basically its a joke. Got it
Where are my Ticos at! 🇨🇷 Nice vid, good form!
Brilliant!! Thanks Coach!
How often do I do this? Is there any way it can be done every squat day? Will it REALLY fry my CNS if I do it that often?
I just do it right after my warming up sets. In my experience it's a good way drill your body and make your body ready for your main sets. If you're starting with 15-20% above your 1RM (I hold it around 8-10 sec before racking it), then psychologically your squat weight (65% - 95%+) feels more okay as your body is kinda tuned in for 120%RM. I think it's predominately a mental drill and to me it doesn't feel quite taxing to my central nerves system. I definitely feel less scared under the heavy load when I do that first.
@@HomelessShoe makes perfect sense. Thanks!
@@Iheartlifting My pleasure to share my personal experience with a fellow lifter :) Good luck with your lifting journey!
Dogs and barbells, what else can you ask for
Perfect thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
dont like using the bands counter: 5
Mmmmm, I see your point, but sometimes you dont have enough lat machines to start easy. Is just a help, like when a spotter helps someone in the bench press, Would it be better if he does it alone? Of course, but is just that, a little help
Thank you. Makes sense now.
Does this fix rounding and the butt popping up when the weight doesn’t move in a sumo stance?
Great information thank you!
Makes way more sense…I was shown the opposite way and hated them
Where to get that equipment?
I had a Bella, I miss her 🥹 Awesome video thank you! Appreciate this as someone who has no idea what theyre doing 😅
So arching means your a chump who cant lift?
Great insight! Thank you.
thank you for this simple explanation!!! this is something I have struggled with understanding mentally. I have even learned about it in text form. but sometimes auditory sticks better
