Ever since I started using these pranayama breathing techniques, I rarely get sick! (Just kicked a cold in 3 days!) This video shows my routine: Deep Breaths: 3 times a day, take 30 big breaths, holding the last exhale for 10 seconds. 4-16-8 Breathing: Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 16 seconds, exhale for 8 seconds. I take every opportunity to encourage those around me ( especially young people) to help them build confidence and self belief. At 40 I'm still doing work to unwind and unravel negative beliefs and practices. Maybe if I had more people believing in me in my 20s I would be in a different place in my 40s.

Hey - not really related to this content, but I have just subscribed to you after watching you talk about tips for finding a job as a wheelchair user, over on 'Pro Tips For Paras'. I am going through this job hunt right now in the UK, and not knowing where to start from. I deal with a lot of pain and fatigue, and I'm somewhat worried. Your video gave me a smidgen more confidence, that I'm going in the right direction. Thank you.

I feel almost the same. Dec to may were horrible months for me and I got into a shitty rut. I needed some positive to focus on. So I'm back in the gym. Slef help can suck. And, honestly, I stopped listening to it a few years ago, but I'm not sure I would have known what I needed if I hadn't spend hours listening to it. I think i just woulf have followed the rut and been miserable at my self without knowing why. Thanks for the video

This resonates with me. Great video. My habits/routines are not great. I still have a hard time going to work every day because I make good money, my expenses are small and I control my hours. I thought living in the back of my jeep would be insentive enough, but I just got used to it. Self improvement is.... constant struggle. Thus video resonates with me. Solid stuff, Steve.

I always feel guilty in the after, but not on the moment. Though, I've been working on focusing in the moment, on the after. Its helping, but not yet working. As the Densel said in the Equaliser 'progress, bot perfection'

Very inspiring Steve. My bars just arrived this evening and I’m surfing RUclips looking for routines. I’m 62 and not done any exercise for a couple of years except for lots of walking. I used to go swimming most mornings when I lived in an apartment with a gym in the building a couple of years ago and took lessons as I was determined to master the crawl (freestyle). Also had a personal trainer for a couple of years before that. As you mentioned, I think time is the biggest factor for not doing exercise and I suppose we can all find time to do something easier.
