Do they also climb trees?
yes, actually the small one live exclusively on trees to avoid being eaten by adult cannibal Komodo
They swim so seamlessly. I can just imagine the tail evolving into a fluke and the limbs becoming flippers, and you get a mosasaur (that's literally how they evolved from ancient monitor lizard relatives).

Lions is to Africa, while Komodo Dragon is to South East Asia.
More like tiger's. Due to tiger's being excellent swimmers. Unlike Lion's which are terrible at swimming. Especially the male lion's with their huge absorbant mane. Sure they can swim just not as well.

No wonder they're related to Mosasaurs! I bet by that movement alone, that's probably how they swam. Komodo Dragons remind me of the Platecarpus as it was a much smaller mosasaur.
