I got diagnosed as autistic a few months ago and then a chronic illness 🥴. we decided to make it more about life with autism since the kids are also ASD. Just made more sense. @@lifeonswezeastreet the difference will be that it's either a little too strong or a little too weak. :) But yes, a general rule of thumb, if it's liquid, use a measuring cup with a pour spout on it. If it's a solid (like rice or brown sugar) use a measuring cup that has a flat top, so you can level off the top. The only thing you might want to use a scale for is something that's to large or weirdly shaped that you can't get a true measure in a cup (like a piece of meat). That being said, many bakers use a scale to measure ingredients (usually in grams) because baking is literally like chemistry. You have to be as exact as possible for it to turn out right. I hope this helps! :)

We definitely need to practice more. We never end up getting our stuff together in time to do Christmas cards so I think I’m going to have the girls make cards for friends and family this year. Olive loves writing but Willow still has trouble with letter recognition. We need to work with her more on it!
