I love this kinda stuff. I used to be a “pro” motorcycle racer, and I love seeing people out just having some good clean fun, and not doing stupid crap on the streets.
This is low buck fun, as it should be.

Looks like a great time. Ton of cars you just don't see here in the states, and a super nice facility. Little green monster did good. Drag racing as simple as it is in concept is addictively fun.

@@gumbootrallynz yeah, drag racing really is a blast. As far as upgrades, just slap a turbski on there and send it! haha looking forward to seeing what you do and new PB's in the future, gotta get down into those 13's . . . goal for 2025 maybe?!
@ baby steps mate. Keen for 14s first. Won’t be a turbo on this car it’s not what it’s for. I really wanna build a v8 turbo drag and drive Toyota wagon. That’s the dream.
@@gumbootrallynz haha I know all about them baby steps, shoot I'm still crawling much less steppin haha that says, just a bity baby turbski, not big ole honker turbski, but a baby one, will make the throttle alot more snappy and help with fuel economy and shouldn't need any bottom end work for a couple lbs of boost. I love the wagon idea though, so yeah, gotta make that happen! ❤

It’s got an ecu and a bunch of comp. Yes it needs the cam. The motor is ready for it. Need gearbox and diff upgrade next.
Did you get any footage or photos of the MR2s? Everyone seems to overlook them and I dunno why, they're more interesting than subis & skylines....

If you keep an eye out for our autocross video there is a 2zz turbo AW11 and I clam shell 2zz na one as well,

Just little bit annoying as I attend when I can with my 2 but I always never see photos or videos/coverage on the MR2s we made a huge effort this month with 21 cars which is really big deal for us as these cars are getting rare and a lot of time owners can't make it to meet so just would've been nice to be recognized, love the video apart from all that though. Hope you have a merry Christmas.
