The Oconomowoc Area Foundation focuses on six priorities for improving the Oconomowoc Area:
1. Programs for children and youth, particularly teens
2. Services to the elderly, particularly those with limited access to community services
3. Arts and cultural programs
4. Programs providing support services for persons facing life-threatening conditions or for the families of such persons
5. Programs that preserve the environment through reduction of pollution, conservation or restoration of natural areas, education or protection of wildlife
6. Economic development

The OAF continues to make a difference in our community by supporting non-profits organizations throughout the Oconomowoc community. Blessings in a Backpack is a non-profit organization that feeds school children in the United States who currently are fed during the week on the federally funded Free and Reduced Meal Program and are at risk of going hungry on the weekends.

Every year the Oconomowoc Area Foundation distributes money to grant recipients for their continued success. This past year we celebrated by doling out more that $330,000 to these fine non-profits.
