Iowa Wind League Semi-Finals #1 - FTC Powerplay
This autonomous will not work exactly for my team but do you have a place where I could check it out
How heavy this is?😁😁
Can you get it with the submersible actually shuffled though?
Yep! We can get it about 80% of the time I'd say, as long as there's an alliance sample thats practical to grab within our reach.
@lionrobotics21311 oh wow. That's really good then. Do you have any sort of detection system or does it just happen to work out?
@KyeAnderson-16377 During initialization we use our controller to manually input the coordinate of the sample we want. We are going to switch to limelight vision if we can get enough time to hit a 7 specimen auto but for now this is more consistent. It's legal because there's technically no randomization this year as it happens before initialization.
That's crazy. I know you just said it's legal, but are you absolutely sure that's allowed
@KyeAnderson-16377 yep there was even a Q&A asked on it, p sure it's Q244 but I don't wanna check
Love it hope to see you guys at state
Is your intake with gobilda 48mm gecko wheels and super speed servo?
Hey, your vertical slides are really fast. Any tips?
@@alerod4296 we use misumi sar240 slides using 2 motors running at 1150 rpm with 24 mm spools, mgn slides or bwt slides are also really good though. Note that our slides are not capable of hanging though with how fast they run.
@@lionrobotics21311 Thanks, do you have an instagram that my team can follow you on?
@@lionrobotics21311 also, Ik the gobilda spools are about 32 mm. Are there any advantages to using your smaller spools?
How do you pick up specific pieces because there were only yellow on the side you pick up from didn’t seem very real
What rpm for slides?
@@JoshuaThe-xp2jb 1150 on 24 mm spool
Thank you!
Well tuned
how do you make sure when placing the specimens on the walls, that they are in the right spot for the robot to grab them?
@@donkeymage7358 skill. Human player lines it up with the robot and let's go just before robot enters observation zone and grabs it
do you have cad for this?
RR or pedro pathing?
@@ziezster8470 pedro
@@lionrobotics21311 bot looks awesome, do you plan on posting a little more in depth view of your robot, or possibly any cad? love your robot man looks very simple but really efficient. I commend you on that front, I wish you luck!!.
@@ziezster8470 We will not be releasing a cad of the robot however we might do a robot explanation after Christmas break
is the auto-coded with ticks or odometry? Do you use cameras to make the sample grab more precise?
@@mg_mastergodgaming4980 odometry, and no we don't use camera assistance in teleop
Awesome
What pathing do you use?
@@lakout3614 Pedro pathing
For your intake, how did you manage to make the sample get sucked in, instead of hanging partially underneath, it seems like it somehow gets angled upwards with nothing underneath it. Did you cut the compliant wheels a certain way? Also, are you running gobilda speed servo for that?
@@flyway_b there is actually a 3d printed ramp underneath it
@@lionrobotics21311 are the wheels custom made or are they like stock rev grip wheels for the intake?
@goneman2195 stock gobilda gecko wheels
@@lionrobotics21311Are those the 48 mm geckos? If so, I can’t figure how to mount those on a servo.
¿435 RPM in all?
@@urielidk1368 the drive is 435 rpm, extensions are 1150
Are you allowed 2 specimens before you begin the game since you didn’t get those 2 from the submersible
@@theawesomeduck6468 yes the human player starts with 2 red/blue samples and 2 yellow samples that you can choose to use as preloads or keep with the human player and allow them to introduce
@@lionrobotics21311 Thank you
auto is 🔥
Isn’t it illegal since your throwing the samples
@@masterquackerjack1210 no it's mostly gravity and the little amount it does move forwards our refs deemed inconsequential since the bucket enters the observation zone on each drop still
