I had to check out your video. I am a huge Vera Bradley fan and own a closet full of all her bags in so many styles and colors. Now Inlook through the new bag styles and find absolutely NOTHING that I like. They have completely lost their products beauty! I am so disappointed. Thank goodness I still have my collection to switch back to and continue using. Thanks for explaining what you know!

WOW I hadn't realized this happened! I've been buying from the outlet online store for the past few months and hadn't visited the new one in a while. Just wow. Yeah, I'm totally the demographic they're targeting, but I don't like much of anything they're selling right now. Thanks for your thoughts!

I am so saddened!!! I usually purchase 1 or 2 bags per year (and some wristlets or blankets for co workers). I went into an outlet store 2 weeks ago looking for my favorite bag (the little hipster--which is my absolute favorite) and was so mad that they no longer carry them. I have emailed the company 3 times to find out what would be similar (it was the perfect strap length for me and also fit my phone so comfortably) and I have not received an email back from them. I am know scouring the internet trying to find a few esp some of the older prints (I loved the blue with penguins, the polar bears, etc....). I am now looking for a new bag that has similar measurements to the little hipster---anyone have suggestions?

I agree. The rebrand has made me not want to buy many things. They do not feel as well made in many cases. Though I did make an exception for the Wicked release. Good to see you back!

Good to see you Peach! I love the color on that bag and the pattern. I really hope that Vera Bradley doesn't abandon the styles that made them all in the name of for fad and trends.

The rebrand has totally taken away the excitement I used to have for VB. The patterns are nice but the purses are not functional and I miss all of the pockets, slip pockets, hidden pockets and zipper closures. Don't get me started on the torture straps either‼️ ugh...I used to buy so many items, now I'm on the Internet buying the old patterns in the old purse styles that I love, but I miss the excitement of new patterns and functional designs that had lots and lots of pockets‼️

My issue with the rebrand is how short and flimsy the arm straps are.

I have a VB zip ID and I really like that I can get my cards in and out without a struggle and there's still space if I wanted to add change or cash. I'd love if they would make a pastel/bubblegum pink version 😍😍. Hope to see more bag videos!!

Is this mini backpack smaller than the small convertible backpack?

This is a pretty pattern. But I feel so overwhelmed with the Wicked collabs from various brands. For me it’s too much at once.

I'm missing all of these beautiful patterns and purse designs that Vera used to make. The new redesigned Vera has taken the fun and functionality out of the experience‼️ I hope Vera brings back the fun patterns and favorite styles, I sure do miss them.

You said they Hadley had hardware issues do does the hardware have screws that you can tighten? Actually I got one off of eBay the turquoise solid color for $25. I’m putting it up for Christmas for myself from my husband. lol but wondering if I just keep an eye on the hardware and if it has a little teeny screws, cause I have all kind of little tools and I can just make sure it’s always tightened

Great review! I love this black nylon regular size Bancroft backpack. The only thing that is stopping me from buying it is that it does not have the hidden zipper pocket behind the trolley sleeve. It's such a bummer as it's a deal breaker for me 🫤

So, please jump on every now and then and say, “Hello”. Again, I’m an old dog and prefer old/original Vera Bradley classic material. My last purchase was the Sunflower Bucket Bag. In my opinion, Original Classic Vera Bradley being different than other companies is what made them desirable. You couldn’t get their fabulous bags anywhere else!

I agree they will back peddle. This was a wrong way move . I’m an old school Vera lover and seeing what they have now is just not appealing to me (I’m 50) I still have my first bag from 1996! I sure miss the patterns. Thank you for sharing all your thoughts.

I am horrified and disgusted with the direction of Vera Bradley. There is an amazing group of Vera girls who have been committed to the brand for many, many years. No one is happy. We are not on board one bit. No more Vera for us.

I really like their new patterns, but I absolutely don't like thin shoulder straps, and the new purses lack inside and outside pockets. Also zipper top closure is a must for me.

I Absolutely love that bag! I regret not buying one, and I have been wanting one for years now‼️ I have been searching the internet for one. Now that Vera Bradley has changed, I think that was the prettiest pattern and color of all.

Comment about the hidden pocket: I have not bought a Bancroft backpack but I did look at a nylon one like yours at my local department store to specifically see the hidden pocket. It didn't have one either. I'm guessing the samples that they used to film their videos had the hidden zipper but it was left out of the final version. That turned me away from buying a Bancroft because I adore my hidden pocket on my campus backpack.

I got the same little zip organizer the price was great I love that purple pattern and it’s perfect for my bag without adding bulk. I wish they had that pattern in more bag options though it seems a little more limited.

I saw the same RUclips video. I ordered the large Bancroft and was confused when I saw it didn’t have that secret pocket. I thought I misremembered or that maybe it was only on the regular size. I went back and read the specifications on both sizes and it’s not mentioned on either. For a moment I just thought I thoroughly confused myself, glad it wasn’t me 😁
