Bobbin lace - Roseground filling
This filling is seen as a section with small diamonds in diagonal rows and is worked with 4 pairs for each rose.

The top rose is worked first, then the left and right roses, finally the bottom rose is worked to complete this element.
There are 8 steps to complete for each rose:

o = pin
+ = stitch, no pin
Working method:
1. Cloth st, twist (CLST, TW) - no pin - Top Left corner
2. CLST, TW - no pin - Top Right corner
3. 1/2st, pin, 1/2st
4. 1/2st, pin, 1,2st
5. 1/2st, pin, 1/2st
6....
