The Garden at Chranvar Pt 1 - 1st August 2024 (Year 4) - The best year yet !!
Просмотров 282 месяца назад
This year … the best yet ever! The Gaillardia at full size, the pyramid almost perfect, and the Dahlias now better spaced out around the garden. Also featuring are the Sweet Peas and Fuchsias as annually, but also this year, a great deal more Cosmos than in previous years. Unfortunately the trailing Silene in the hanging baskets I planned last year didn’t work out, but there’s always next year....

The best year yet! The plants reach their crescendo in late summer here. Featuring the Petunia pyramid as promised, the speciality Dahlias, and the Sunflower bed. Also new stars this year include Aster (the roses), Achillea (double diamond), and a wonderful new trailing form of Silene called Sibella Mix.

Jauch Westminster/Ave Maria Chiming Wall Clock
Просмотров 1,9 тыс.7 лет назад
German made in the 1970’s, I have just had this box wall clock fully repaired and serviced. The Ave Maria melody chime is new and not either the typical Lourdes, Schubert or Fatima versions; a completely new chiming mechanism was just added as I said. I think the tune is based on the Lourdes chime, which is what the old mechanism played, but if anyone knows for certain please comment below...

Love watching all beautiful flowers and plants you had in your garden ❤
Thank you Maya. It has been better this year, however, I still have plans for improvement next, so we’ll see again then.
I was a baby when this was aired but the music is better in them days than nowadays
Thanks Amber. The music was great back then. If you’d like a complete copy of this show I can send it to you. Let me know.
Would you be able to post a video of the inside of the clock (the movement)?
Oh I’m sorry, this clock went a few years ago now. I sold it on.
miss these days wish all the radio one countdowns were on youtube music these days is shit
I do have lots of these if you want them mate. Email me over at conway_718@hotmail.com
Pretty cool
Haha yeah I remember this clock. Unfortunately long gone as it was sold on over 5 years ago now!
I think the clock has 2 chime sequences as it plays both Westminster & Whittington.
Never heard an Ave Maria like that
Can i buy this full recording from you?
conway_718@hotmail.com pm me
RIP Sinead 😢
Simon Bates, 34 Would i lie Charles and Eddie Elton John favourite couple, i didn't know they were gay.
Do you have the week of October 1 2001?
If I do it will be only the final rundown I think. Do you have an email?
Super super super ❤❤❤❤
Lovely!! I started collecting the tiny 25g but I'm now looking forward getting the biggest boxes
I only have 1 of them I think, Linden Blossom. I hope you find them all and good luck with the larger ones.
Wow! I hope you didn’t mind me filming it. If you want it taken down just let me know.
This happened in my fiancée's brother's back yard. My fiancée was the one filming.
Yup, that was a Halloween morning mishap. If that table hadn’t been there, that limb would’ve hit the house. Thanks for enjoying my old video! 😂
Never could understand what that jingle says.
The legend that was mr tommy vance!
Bruno slow down man, what was no 23 again?
#23 Skid Row-18 And Life(#12 peak)
I use to love the rundown of Bruno Brookes chart countdown, Speed it up to 2.0 x 🤣🤣
It's amazing how Tommy did his research about the artists. Some of the things he says about their background, I never knew.
This is when it was the best chart on Radio 1 now they just rush though it
50 Cent and OutKast 🐐
Some great acts in there a great top 40 👍
I have many of these shows complete if you’d be interested.
Quite odd Mark counting down the Top 10 in that format instead of the played clips
I remember that day. I was actually in the shower listening on my splash proof radio when this countdown was happening and I think the producer must’ve mistakenly pressed the wrong button at that point during the recap. For a few seconds he panicked and I thought ‘shit, what’s he going to do!’ But like a proper pro he handled it very well!
When Radio 1 had professionals.
Mark Goodier sounded so much younger back then.
92 had so many great songs in the Top 40
It still says made in the 50s . It's actually from the 1970s
Corrected. Thank you.
Tommy Vance could make todays Top 40 sound exciting.
That's actually from the 1970s . And it's also Jauch not Kenininger
Thank you. Changed.
@@Malubvra it still says made in the 1950s
Loved this chart music theme
@Malubvra I actually have a copy of the 2001 Christmas Top 40 (broadcast 23rd December 2001) - I'll upload it someday.
He does the Official Chart show every Friday on Radio 1.
I was looking for this. Very strange and unexpected.
In retrospect, while Wes does do a good job at bringing the chart show into the early 2000s, it doesn't fare well when you put them up against the likes of Mark Goodier and Bruno Brookes' hosting styles, respectively.
Wes KILLED the chart show, sadly went further downhill with JK and Joel following him in 2005. The chart as I knew it died with Mark Goodier.
@@markc8956 - JK and Joel were appalling! Great presenters, but not suited for the chart countdown at all. The only duo who did an outstanding job at presenting any chart show were Richard Clarke and Katherine Shoob (Rich and Kat) on The Big Top 40 Show across commercial radio years ago. They bounced off each other well, and as it was on the commercial radio networks, were on a faster-moving chart show with less chat and more of the songs. The Official Chart countdown with JK and Joel was just them talking over each other all the time, which was a result of them being an actual broadcasting duo. Fern Cotton and Reggie Yates were comparatively better at presenting it together because they weren't an official broadcasting duo, which meant that they were able to make room for one another during the countdowns. With the exception of Fern and Reggie, The Official Chart countdown is always at its best with one presenter and one presenter only. Wes Butters was good, and Scott Mills at the moment is excellent, but none of them will ever come close to Mark Goodier. He was the best at the chart show by a mile, and was the one I grew up with.
"Hey Baby" by No Doubt (No.7 that week, No.2 the previous week)... god, the memories of their lesser-known late 2001/early 2002 studio effort "Rock Steady" are coming back to haunt me, haha! As a punk rock nerd, the album art for "Rock Steady" would later be paid tribute to by Paramore on their breakthrough 2007 album "Riot!".
0:30 I've recorded that into Audacity and reversed it and I've revealed that the track in question is "Get Me Off" by Basement Jaxx.
cheater! you've been disqualified from a seventeen and a half year old contest!
@@riceymartin2203 Don't worry - the competition's *long* closed by now, haha!
Anyone have the US female numbers used on these shows with this bed?
The classic number 1 written by prince
Spoiler: Britney came out on top
What day this chart clip was from?
Either 21st or 28th January 2001.
Shakespear's Sister is actually how the group spelt their name. A mistake of a graphic designer on a mock up of their first album, which they actually decided to go with...
Hard to believe this is now 19 years ago!!
2002-2005 ❤️ surreal to hear it as it was happening, did they realise what a time it was to be alive
The number jingles are a tad cheesy for 1987.
when did the full countdown at the end finish?Realy builds up excitement.Takes me back.It is a wonder that Bruno and Mark were not out of breath aftwr rundows like this. The 6.50 event was the highlight of my radio week. With the jingles it is something I miss
The last final recap before the No.1 of the entire 40 was One of the Sundays in October 2007. One other point. I eventually found out from another collector that the final rundowns were actually pre-recorded.
@@Malubvra It would stand to reason that it may have ended on 3Oth September that year Jk and Joel's last week.Gosh I listened to that rundown for 19 years!
@@Malubvra Whereas now, Scott Mills has brought it back, but only in a 20 to 3 recap over the chart show theme, before the number two and number one singles. I'd do it the other way around, by doing the complete countdown (40 to 3) and then do the Top 2 and then conclude the show.
I use to tape the Radio 1 Top 40 nearly every Sunday at 4pm on my stereo and use to love listening to Bruno and Marks run down and use to do this thing by holding the play button slightly down and hearing like the chip monks doing the chart run down 😂
And with bluetooth adapter you can play music from mobil here.. like modern ones ))
So much trance in the top 40 great days, rip official top 40.

Go Bruno gooooooo! We were so excited when our Stoke DJ went to work for Radio One. He was so ‘cool.’ A brilliant DJ. He should be on ‘Signal One’ or Radio Stoke, in his home town. He is missed. I wonder what he does now.
He's a very successful business man Melanie, running his own company Immedia PLC in Newbury, Berkshire, among other things they supply in store radio to shops & stores. I've met and interviewed him in the last 2 years, a real gentleman.
This was the chart for my 9th birthday that fell just two days later.
