Nick's 7 Keys to Happiness
Просмотров 387 лет назад
This is my final speech for a public speaking class at Harvard. I owe so much to the wonderful community of fellow students and to the instructors for the course, Remo and Ashleigh. To view my 7 Keys to Happiness, go to nickmerrill.co/happy Sorry for the rough video quality. This was filmed by a classmate mostly for my own self-improvement. Credit to Inner Engineering for a great idea on a visu...
Uncut cockpit view in Edge 540
Просмотров 2,5 тыс.9 лет назад
Trying out another new cockpit angle for the GoPro (top right). Hopefully it highlights the controls better and helps with reviewing what went right/wrong in practice. I was a little (or more) sloppy on some of the maneuvers, especially rolling points and the downline coming out of the spin, but every flight in that plane is a great one! Side note: I learned a nice new trick for cutting out the...

Halloween Aerobatics + 2 Wing-Cam Tumbles

What an awesome angle to capture the entire plane, sky, and ground. I'll be adding more angles in soon; just experimenting for now. Surprisingly, this is the first time I've successfully tumbled two full rotations. It's pretty tough at 11,000 feet and another person in the front, but I think a faster entry speed of 135 knots vs. my usual 120 helped. I also had a lower entry angle, which may hav...

Practicing the 2009 Sportsman Sequence and Inverted Spin with Chad
So cool 😎
This content is pure gold for me, thank you for sharing it! I am headed to my first camp with Sergei next week and this helps me understand him on the radio. Cheers and well flown all those years ago
I wonder, where do you get the training for the aircraft. I want to possible try flying one for myself someday.
Really thinking about getting one of these. About 300k?
Mr. Mann I’ve heard around 200k to 300k but nothing official
Awesomenessssss!!!
I don't understand why your videos don't have more hits! Great work!
I guess I don't try to publicize them. I just enjoy the flying and cutting the footage. :) Thanks for the compliment!
Would love to be able to do aeros in an edge 540 or extra 300, but sadly none near me so have to stick to basics in the firefly. How much does it cost you per hour in this aircraft?
Hey, sorry I missed your comment. Unfortunately, it's not possible to rent the Edge since it's technically experimental. I think Extras go for maybe $400 an hour, plus a trained instructor for insurance purposes! Best solution is to do your research and work out a deal with a new friend, I'm afraid...
Nice job getting the aileron inputs to sync with the beat of the music during the 4 point roll :)
***** Thanks! Still learning the art of editing, but it sure is fun :)
The web page is not opening :(
Oh man, I wish I could do this.
I know! And who is behind that amazing narration voice??
This is frickin' awesome!
Great Video Nick. Tell your Dad hi. Larry
Well, 100 of them are probably mine... In fact, I think it's time for one more!
Eunice is a beautiful person...these kids could not be in better hands.
@EverybodyLies13 Thanks. It's one of my favorites.
@kittymom12330 Thank you!
@ekcurly3 Thanks. One is a theme from the movie Blood Diamond.
@1freckleface2 Thanks for your support!
Hey, I know those pictures! Great video man! Love it, and I'll get all my friends to pitch in!
Nick - You are as awesome as your Dad, maybe more so!! You made my toes curl watching your turns. Keep up the good work. Pam (old friend of your Dad's)
