I recently read Sleep Tight and it was crazy and a lot going on but really good!

The Historian is phenomenal book! I read it over ten years ago and still remember the plot like I read it a month ago. 😊

SLewfoot was really good it wasn’t terrifying but it did have some creepy moments and the illustrations are gorgeous ❤

Drácula is amazing ❤it’s just a bit repetitive and told thru letters

I love Daphne du Maurier, you’ve got her two best books there. I also love her collection of short stories ‘The birds’, really creepy.

Wow you had a great reading month! Mine was good, a few 5 stars. I read Spellshop in August and absolutely loved it! Out of the books u read, I've read Summer Romance, Never Lie, and Heartless Hunter. I agree with Never Lie being Frieda Mcfadden's best book that book gave me the creeps I loved it! And absolutely adored Summer Romance I love her writing so much. Heartless Hunter I didn't love, I felt the same as you did when you first started reading it, just felt like I got bored lol. But now I wanna read Her Soul To Take so bad in October! And I want to read the Serpent & Dove series too to get to Scarlet Veil but we've talked about this in my previous comments lol. Great reads this month.

Glad you ended up enjoying Crimson moth. Personally for me I had no issues getting into it. I loved it from page one.

I love your enthusiasm for the books you like and I just found Her Soul To Take in my library. Not something that would be my first pick, but knowing that we like similar books I'm going to trust you and jump into it. 😅🤭

I read the Spellshop earlier this month and it was one of my favorite books of the month I hope you love it too. Also read One Dark Window and Twisted Crowns back in April and it's great it's perfect for the fall. I really want to read the Serpent and Dove Trilogy probably in November bc I also picked up The Scarlet Veil not knowing u had to get to the trilogy first lol. But I hope you get to Serpent and The Wings Of Night it's so worth the hype and I reccomended the audiobooks to you last month. Also I read The Revenant Games earlier this month based on your rec in your July Wrap Up and I really liked it! Happy reading!

I have exactly the same feeling about Kingdom of Ash. I'm afraid to read it. 😅 Throne of Glass messed up with my feelings like no other book before. I had to take time off from reading after every book.

I’m here manifesting Fall too because I’m tired of the Summer heat 😂 Autumn is the prettiest! I cannot wait.

Summer romance was amazing I love her writing too!! One dark window duology was sooo good love the magic system. Serpents of the Wings Of Night such a good vampire romantasy and I love the sequel too can’t wait for the third one in November. I didn’t love Heartless Hunter and personally don’t understand the hype, hopefully you like it more lol. The Spellshop is on my TBR for this month too and now u made me so excited to read it! And I have the Scarlet Veil too and probably going to read that in October. I also love Kerri Manascalsos writing and read her Kingdom of The Wicked Series and Throne of the Fallen and loved them! Can’t wait for Throne of Secrets at the end of October but now I really need to read her other series.

I really enjoyed Spark, it has a lot of set up for book #2 which I am reading now Glow and it takes off on page on.

I just finished Filthy Rich Vampire by Geneva Lee and I really enjoyed it. It’s a very spicy human/vampire dark romance. I thought I’d recommend since you are in your vampire era 😊
