I'm not sure. I have the HTC vive. So it probably won't work properly on Linux.

Do you have a pop up that is stuck behind it when you boot it up?

@@SkippyTheCanadianKangaroo I.. actually did. Since i couldn't login I got a warning that my f16C module wouldn't be loaded. Closing that pop up started the game. That was treacherous as hell XD Thanks man! Much appreciated.

@@Marco-w6r3z you NEED to be able to read that message, next time it pops up, right click it and change it to another monitor, IF it says you can't fly the F-16 anymore you need to disable it in the modules tab. But hey glad it's working now! Pesky little dirty pop ups that hide behind something :P

If you have bought the stuff off steam variant. You will need to create an account on the official website. Then BIND the account to get it transfered over. But yes everything will work EXECPT 3 of them. Apache, Ka50 and the Russian helicopter that transports.

@snevil7406 oh. There is a patch for the files. I been fighting with the dcs crew to use the "patched" files. But you won't be able to use them if the multi-player servers have strict mode on

@@SkippyTheCanadianKangaroo same here. They’re just dated and also a bit dumbed down from original design. I remember back when there was the staircase entrance combined with the forward landing gear. That was awesome. Almost made up for the submariner feel of the living space.

Does it say anything about a missing options.lua line in there?

@@SkippyTheCanadianKangaroo Yeah, I just found out I'm missing the file. I just tried to run the updater with the repair option, but that didn't generate it.

@@declancottle991 Grab the options.lua from here github.com/deleterium/dcs_on_linux and paste it in. make sure that the ["launcer"] = false is in there in the MISC area Edit: it is. Upload the file and it should work for you!

Fantastic! It's a little hassle to learn a different OS but with dedication it will work! It actually runs smoother. I get about 20fps higher cause no bloatware to run my system down :)

under lutris game settings Click on DCS > Configuration > Runner Options Tab > Scroll down to DLL Overrides > add in 'wbemprox' to Key and 'n' to value without the ' marks.

@scythro4057 OK that's good! That is the launcher that they implemented recently. If you join discord (TDCS in the description) we got a list of work around on it. But sadly I'm passing out so I won't be able to help much. Just join in, type in #linux and you can get the channel :) the information is in the pinned.

First time depends on your hard drive and graphics card. For the cache, did you create the folder and have lutris use it? I have an AMD GPU so that could be different. Not sure about nvidia

@@SkippyTheCanadianKangaroo yeah I have a 3070 and an okay ssd, I made the cache folder and added it to environment variables but it’s still empty :/ Also not sure if it’s dxvk_state_cache_path it’s hard to read, but it’s still opening after about 15 minutes
