This brings back a lot of memories. I was in basic training in May and June 1990. I lost my tape from there. I wish I could find someone who was in there with me that has a copy.

This is true to the fullest extent of their bullshit. Fuck walmart. I never shop there because I found better places with better prices and shit that isn't made from crap. So if you want to deal with Walmarts retarded policies and favortism then work there but I highly wouldn't recommend it even if you are desperate for employment.

Id have loved to see the assitants come help us unload the trucks when I was a overnight receiving at walmart.Its not like it is now we had three 3000 piece trucks a night and they didnt come on pa;;ets we handled everything and put it on pallets.even the bleach and oil came in loaded badly on the truck floors .there is nothing like finding a wall of firelogs stacked to the ceiling to make your night.

I worked there for 3 years. For every good assistant manager and support manager, there are 5 or 6 bad ones.

I'll give you an example- when I worked for them, I was a department manager, twenty, and very thin when someone complained to my boss that I dress "too sexy." I followed the dress code-no low cut shirts, no short skirts, but my assistant mgr insisted I changed the way I dressed. Like, seriously, was I supposed to go Amish or what? I took it to the store mgr and she said that was ridiculous and whoever said it was just jealous. Problem solved.

It's not really a colloquialism. It's just referencing the store you previously worked for. How does some goofball take offense to that? They are so worried about offending ANYONE, that everyone will get in trouble for anything. I don't even know how some one gets offended by that!

How hard is being an Assistant Manager at Walmart? From my understanding of this video, colloquial speech should be watched carefully, and that's not a big problem to me. However, I would like to know the difficulty of the position and the average salary. From my research, it looks pretty straight forward, but when it comes to the salary, I'm not sure if 40k is accurate. Was my research accurate?
