@_deqi. Nowdays, the ZTZ96A (P). It's in a decent spot at 10.0 since it's not going to get dragged to 11.3 premium hellhole. You will be able to research the whole tree and also the 10.0 lineup is very strong and fun, but it requires some skill and caution to play, since it's lower frontal plate is bigger (thus a more obvious weak spot) than a TURMS (the tank which this is often compared to).

@@_deqi. I mean... First of all, only the ZTZ96A (P) is on a discount now, and the T-69 II G can only be bought on some special occasions, so it's not like you can pick it up now. For a 50% off definitely the ZTZ96A (P) is the superior pick, plus is in a higher rank which will allow you to research the whole tree, meanwhile the T-69 II G is a lower rank and thus won't allow you to research rank 8. Regarding performance... ugh, I used to love the T-69 but nowdays is not in such a great spot BR wise. You have a very powerful 9.0 lineup (WMA301, PTL02, AFT09...) but the tank itself is just... limited for the tier. It has a decent APFSDS (105mm) but a very, very long reload for the tier, at 9.7 seconds default like Russian T-55's, and no thermals while the mobility is also very limited. It's fun to play and powerful, but it doesn't hold its ground like the ZTZ96A does. The rest of the lineup vehicles however are very powerful.

@@sayny I’m on console and they still have the type 69iig it seems cool and I’m not more of a top tier person the highest I enjoy is around 9.0 including uptier with an 9.0 vehicle buy what about the ztz59a

@_deqi. I mean... even then it's hard for me to recommend the Type69, getting uptiers will be VERY painful. Imagine fighting against CV90105, T-80UD and so on. Yes, in a downtier it will perform decently, but on uptiers even ZTZ96A P will be performing considerably better than Type69 in an uptier. I understand that you might not want to play top tier, in that case you might consider it, but I would much rather get WMA301 instead, or if you can, both.

You can cycle through "V" key or assign a key yourself to the targeting pod view.

By default, Control key I think. I changed it so now I'm unsure.

I does work, the sight stabilization is very important to be able to not lose the sight on the targets, maybe you are missing one step, which is locking the target

As long as you clicked the sight stabilisation key on your target as shown in the video, the bomb will follow the laser. So if the tank moves, the bomb will follow him too, but take into consideration that it is still a bomb, and thus doesn't maneuver that good while in the air, if you're tracking a very fast vehicle such as a Type 93 you will most likely miss because the bomb won't be able to correct massive distances from the original drop point to the new target. And you can also lead the bomb within the area of impact by moving the sight circle, for example, in case you want the bomb to fall next to the tank rather than on top of it (helpful due to sometimes WT being trolly with the damage models).

Toggle NVG button. That will depend on the aircraft you're using, not all of them have it.

The AMX has a worse pod, you need to manually keep the laser aimed at your target so you should not stop using the camera while the bomb is dropping. This guide is for the A-6 TRAM as the title states. Sadly, the AMX pod doesnt lock on targets with the sight stabilization key.

@@sayny I’ve had that work when I use it on a helicopter but for some reason it doesn’t work on my f-16a I just got. It fires flares instead so I must’ve changed it back then by accident. Any idea how I can switch it back to normal? Like what is the actual camera tv zoom in system called so I can keybind it back to V

@@predatorcatchersalliance4266 You won't be able to cycle through it if you don't have any guided ground armament equipped. If you just got the F16 and don't have any weapon that can be guided, it won't display. If however you're sure it's actually just a unbinding issue, then sorry but I have no idea how to do that to re assign it to V.

Yes and no. First, consider that this video was recorded before CCIP was visible at all angles. Meaning, back then the reticle would only be visible when your plane was slightly angled forward. Second, pointing down before dropping also has an advantage: Better bomb maneuverability. The fins of the bomb will be able to maneuver when it's in a full dive, if you drop it without diving, it will take some seconds to move from a "flat" position to a dive position. This means if you're not flying to high, the bomb most likely will not maneuver quick enough to seek the moving target. Other than that, yes, nowadays after the targeting update for CCIP, you can just fly high and not worry about diving, that's correct. However if you're not too high I would still advice to dive a bit.

@@sidreynders4263 Most likely you're not using the sight stabilization key and you're just pressing the bomb button directly, maybe?

@@sayny nope i stabilize then stabilize on target i get the full box its probably im not aiming down with the lazer. So that it can actually see it becasue i know you can also just guide it without locking on

It's not a pod for the TRAM, since it's built in. No targeting pod in game currently has thermal sight. And, as far as I know (I could be wrong) the only built-in cameras with access to thermals are the A6E TRAM and the MQ1/Orion/Loong Wing strike drones. Additionally, scout drones of rank 7 also have thermal sight. If you're using a pod, I highly doubt you have thermals on it. Regardless, answering your question, the setting is "Switch NVD Mode".

Hey! The control is called "Treacking Camera: Bomb/Torpedo" and by default I think you can use it by holding the spacebar after dropping a bomb. In my case I rebinded it to "Num 0" on my numpad. Cheers!

You're right! I just checked, apparently the trade off is the fact that the FPS version does have a 5mm rolled homogeneous armor on top of the chassis while the P version has 15mm.

So for what I checked, the armor model of the FPS is the same as the standard 9.0 model, while not having the same round. We could say it's a copy pasted version of the standard Type 16 9.0 without the round and that would be a more accurate statement. Technically, the P version would be better surviving front shots on the slopped angled chassis compared to the FPS and 9.0 version.

It's a customised version of a random laser sight I found. If I recall correctly it was for the ZTZ96P, but I changed the colour and the Chinese texts for Korean. Try looking for ZTZ96P laser sights and you will probably find the OG in WT Live :)
