Can we save this rusty old mig welder and build it an awesome weld cart?!
Просмотров 93528 дней назад
I attempt to restore my 20 year old, very tired mig welder and bring it up to date. New cables, gas bottle and micro switch, along with a new style euro torch conversion. To top it all off a new custom built weld cart! Yeah it's nice buying the fancy latest bit of kit but you cant beat bringing something old and worn out back to life! Can we build a wide body out of this rusty old Honda?!

Part 5 of building a wide body truck out of this old Honda Acty. This time I uncover even more rust and build an elaborate battery box before being able to start fabrication on the rear wide body conversion. It’s a slow and dirty job, but it has to be done to move on to the fun stuff! If you’re looking for a custom build, from artwork through to hotrods give us a shout via email, DM or WhatsApp...

    I’ve been an aircraft maintainer for 30 years now….and I own a 1994 Acty. It’s my dream to quit my job and build Kei trucks to sell. You are inspiring me to go for it!

    • @aviatorspeedshop
      @aviatorspeedshop Месяц назад

      Awesome! Start the dream!! I did 20 years on aircraft before starting my own shop. It’s been a hard few years but definitely worth it! My only advice would be Kei trucks are a lot more rusty than aircraft! (Depending where you are in the world) The UK weather loves to eat metal!

      Thanks I appreciate it! Thanks for the feedback too. I agree with the music, it’s hard to know what route to go because of the copyright thing that’s why most people use the same stuff, it’s something I need to do more research on! Hopefully I’ll slowly get better at it
