Trimaran Atlantis sailing in gusty wind with rain, hail and lightning. The video was taken when we sailed slightly to windward with 12-14 knots. Later on the day we had a steady 15 to 17 knots when reaching.

This Vintage motorcycle had lain unsold in the back shed of a motorcycle dealer's shop in Liverpool. It was discovered and first registered in 1963. Therefore it is absolutely original with the first paint. Engine and gearbox untouched.
Proa Tuvalu on its very first ride

Tuvalu is a 18' (550cm) pacific proa in Kiribati Island style. It is completely homebuilt from plywood and has an asymetric multichine mainhull (Vaka). The shunting rigg has a traditional crabclaw sail with curved boom and yard. The sailarea is 10m2.

Would you entertain some questions about Tuvalu? I have been thinking about building the P5, but cannot figure out how to derive the bulkhead/station outlines from Othmar's plans. In the MultiHulls.de P5 thread is sounded like you spent quite a bit of time adapting the P5 plans to Tuvalu's length an I was hoping that maybe you had those plans in some sort of computer-printable format. If you are amenable, flip me an email to confirm at fatbelly dot com.
...should have used a 102. That mica diaphragm is eating away at that record!
The type of diaphagm is irrelevant and the 102 is virtually the same design as the 101. There is abrasive built into the record so it's the needle that gets eaten away, that's why you need a new one for every side.
So what's the verdict? How well does it work?

Es ist kein T2. T2 ist in Strip-planking Bauweise, Tuvalu ist ein Knickspanter aus Sperrholz und der P5 von Othmar Karschulin sehr ähnlich. Für die P5 gibt es übrigens kostenlose Baupläne zum download auf multihull.de

The car's empty weight including petrol is 1980kg. It can be driven with an ordinary car driving licence. The maximum number of persons when we were afloat was 10. It did not make much difference in water performance.

The meeting took place on lake Attersee in Austria in may 2007. 3 Amphicars, 15 VW-166 Schwimmwagen and 1 Gaz-46 MAV.
