Recently found a Scream Factory Event Horizon for £2 in a charity shop. I was stunned.

I found Casino Royale - 1967 on Tubi, and the 2006 on Blu-Ray with Daniel Craig for $5.99 at a Half-Priced Bookstore near me, back on 5/29 of this year. I have a Free Willy 4-Pack on DVD for $7.49.

Found the criterion Blu ray Matewan at the flea market for $1.50 last weekend. Finally got a pretty decent score. Plus I love the movie.

Great collection shame. You can't keep all the movies You're wrong about Lone Wolf and cub collection it's based on a manga, but it's all live action. Also, if you heard of shogun assassin, it's 1 and half of the first 2 movies.

I just got back from a road trip a couple days ago. Went from about 20 miles north of Seattle Washington to Eugene Oregon (about 300 miles) I stopped at multiple pawn shops and used Blu-ray stores along the way. All but one stop was a complete bust but that one stop was a home run. picked up Men In Black 1-3 set Civil War Twister IP Man 4 Hunger Games The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Wonka Godzilla Vs Kong the New Empire The Invisible Man Chappie and Godzilla Vs Kong steelbook, the Walmart glow in the dark one. Paid a grand total of $50 for the whole lot, all were 4K's They were asking $6 per 4k but since I bought so many they just charged me $5 each. they had a $15 tag on the Men in Black set but they didn't notice it and just rang it up as a single 4k

You should definitely check out Dead Alive. It’s kind of a shame Hollywood got their hooks into him because old Peter Jackson films are wild. It’s hard to believe he has an Oscar considering how he started out.

During the last several years, I have built my collection in a similar way and I just love seeing your strategy and your video breakdowns. I own a Panasonic 820 4k player (sort of expensive) and luckily it plays Region B, i didn't have to modify it or anything. Congrats on the haul and like others said in the comments, I would double check the Region B titles that you want to keep and see if they play in your current 4K player, some might. 👍

If you happen to have Panasonic 4k player there is easy trick to watch different region blu-rays. Easy to find how on google/yourube. I recommend checking that Aki Kaurismäki collection out. Great movies.

It's a mad mad mad world, Dazed and Confused, out of the 1st auction are all I had.... some of those boutique labels may say region b but may be actually all region...so if there are any you have questions about I'd just throw em in your region a player just in case.

Excellent haul! Congrats. Do you ever consider selling small bundles out of the large collections you purchase? For instance, I'm interested in about 7-10 of the titles you purchased, and it would certainly improve my bottom line to buy them all at once at a slightly reduced price...although I know that defeats your purpose in trying to get your balance down to zero. Hey, I had to ask. And when will all of these be listed (if they aren't already)?

you shouild buy a Panasonic DP-UB820 region free ultra HD 4K blu ray player nice haul! this player is the best bang for the buck and it's always on sale at Bestbuy for like 400 bucks.

Very impressive. I don’t have the courage to spend that much money and hope that someone might buy mine out of everyone else selling the same movies too on eBay. If you only need a region free player for your Blu-ray’s just buy a cheap region free Blu-ray player, it doesn’t need to be a region free 4K player. If you play ps4 games I believe you can change the region on it a few times until it’s locked so you can use a ps4 system and just leave it on region B.

Affordable region free 4K Blu-ray player is the Sony UBP 700/M. Shop around. I've seen them go for $190 before. Just be careful not to get the UBP 700 - same model, but not region-free. Alternatively, you could just get a Region B Blu-ray player, or Region Free Blu-ray player for even cheaper if you're cool with having a separate standalone player. It'd put less usage on your 4K player when not watching 4Ks, of course, so it's worth considering.

Dude, nice epic haul. You should at least watch some of the used ones even if you don't keep them. The Arrow Cinema of Conflict Kieslowski films are worth checking out. I will say it's worth looking up/trying some of the region B titles because some boutiques "forget" to region lock their discs. Pretty much any Aussie Blu, German ones often, and you can find out on the British ones, which are more hit and miss. I know Scum is region free. It's one of many Video Nasties.
