These figures costs a fortune and there's always something missing! Like a sidearm and maybe a knife !
Very nice figure 😊❤🎉
What did you use for the headsculpt?
that's the headsculpt from Crazy Dummy 78002 "US Army Ranger Gunner"
@@Baker_7498Yep. Used pastel chalks sealed with Dullcote for the camo. It’s one of my favorite heads, also used it for my Project Delta and a Ukrainian SOF guy.
@@fossildude181 thank you. I’m always on the lookout for really expressive faces. A lot of the heads you get in kits are can be very nondescript.
Every citizen should be aware of this raid. Probably few that aren’t keyed into history know of it.
Its cool that they made a stabo rig which is available for other customs. Ujindou has brought a lot of new accessories so you dont have to scour the internet for ACE parts.
would love to see a company finally make an aussie figure from Vietnam, maybe Ujindou will be the one to do it
@@Baker_7498 at one point, GWG wanted to do a Vietnam SASR, but that fell through.
@@fossildude181 yeah a SASR trooper would be most likely since most of their equipment was US gear so a full figure would only need a few unique pieces
I got the lrrp they made not too long ago to go with my 82nd airborne inspired lrrp team I'm in the process of building and I have to say I can agree with you on the quality. Everything is very solid with a few minor issues that were easily fixable. I also have to say that the carabiners that they make are also some of the most durable that I have seen. With my Ace figures I had to be really careful with them or they would break easily but for these I can unhook them and move them around the figure without them breaking.
I think Ujindou is looking at my work.. I really do.. O_O
bought the figure for the gear and chinese ak. not my cup of tea this uniform or hat. But I understand it's accurate for what they were doing.
You'd think Americans would be too tall to sneak around in enemy uniforms. Thanks for sharing this bash.
@@Conroy1776 You had two philosophies going. Either you were hoping they were focusing more on the uniforms or you’d assume that the Caucasians were eastern bloc advisors (most likely Russian, Cuban, or maybe East German). Either way, the goal was to buy an extra second or two before a firefight erupted so that the recon team could gain fire superiority.
Jeffajab is the absolute best there is! Gotten a bunch of stuff from him. Always a great deal.
That’s legit
Nice figures but looks more like 1969-1970 Navy SEALs
the coat look a m 65 filed jacket i have a m 65 filed jacket
Deep respect for this warrior, a genuine soldier. Something that can’t be said about most men. Rest in Peace Jerry Michael Tate Shriver! ♠️🙏
I still have plenty of 21st century toys items that I bought from Toys R Us, they made sooooo many things that no other toy company has made yet, stuff like the stoner 63, or the navy seal m60, or the XM148 Grenade launcher, or the Grizzly Big Boar 50 cal sniper rifle, or my favorite the china lake grenade launcher. Literally so many weapons that no one else has made since they made them.
Hey Casual Collector…. Since You Tube doesn’t have DM’s anymore I dropped you a note on the old OSW forum….
The level of detail that went into this is simply amazing.
That’s awesome
These look amazing
Great figures❤
This is amazing 🤩 🤯
Whoever did this YOU ARE AN AMERICAN.
Great video❤
WHERE DID U GET RPD FROM,WOULD LIKE TO GET ONE ??
Soldier Story makes a very nice one that’s to their usual standards. This one was a resin kit that I got from a former member of the 21C design team. Sadly, he doesn’t sell them anymore.
Very nice 😊
awesome!
WOW!!!
awesome!!
WOW!!
awesome team. Bravo!!
Why did the first guy use a ww2 German helmet?
It was something Nick Brokhausen got from his Uncle Otto. He preferred to wear it instead of the US M1 on some heavy missions and loaned it out to other folks, including Eldon Bargewell. There’s a few photos of him wearing it if you Google him.
Very interesting kit for this operation, a treat to see it in 1/6 form. I enjoyed Osprey's Raid title on Eagle Claw.
Thanks for keeping there memories alike.. Heros Forever
Alot of seals wore Levi's so you were on point with that
Awesome really amazing
Will you also review the MACV SOG and LRRP figures by this brand in the future?
I’ll probably review the second MACVSOG figure (the Jerry Shriver video doubles as my review of the first). I think the LRRP is an excellent figure, but SOG is my bread and butter, it’s got more going on that I like.
@@fossildude181 also I’m curious will you kitbash this figure by adding and modify some of the accessories to make it more accurate?
@@randycheow4268 Nah, if you check my history, I already did a few Eagle Claw assaulters already (I included one of those jackets in this video). That said, I have been helping the guy the figure is based off of to upgrade the one he’s got.
thanks for the video 👍🏻 to me 21st century allways be the greatest company, awesome 1/6 stuff!!!
I posted a link to this video on a couple private FB sites for SOG folks and families. They liked it. B-)
Hi I managed to find a photo of him where he has the helmet on his head
What's with the German helmet,???
Nick Brokhausen took the helmet with him to Vietnam. There’s photos of him wearing it and a great shot of Eldon Bargewell in it.
Thanks for the info 👍
You forgot to give each of them an Agent, movie deal, and book writing table, since Each SEAL is now required to write a tell all novel & advise on a hollywood motion picture giving away all of their tactics. But awesome figures on your end 👍👍👍
Did you work for 21st centurty toys,?
Before my time. I’ve never been employed by a toy company, I just have a great deal of enthusiasm for the work others have done.
This is a very nice SEAL team, one of the best ones I've seen. The navy seals would also wear jeans because they also weren't as sloshy in water than the the erdl pants making them popular. Another interesting note is that most SEALs would only have 1 canteen compared to other special teams because their missions would only be a couple hours long. Not to say this set is bad, because it is incredible but I thought those are some interesting things to note.
That bit on the pants is good tradecraft. Hadn’t heard the bit about the canteens though, that makes sense if they’re just doing raids. As a follow-up, any other notes for gear?
@fossildude181 sorry for the late reply but I don't think they wore buttpacks on missions either. If you want a very detailed description on the basic web setups and uniforms there is a militaria forum I frequent called U.S. militaria forum. If you go there and search Vietnam navy seal impression the first thread that appears on it goes in depth on the basic setups they would have and there is an expert ( user named SPIKE) who gives alot of good information. I would post the link to it but for some reason youtube isn't allowing me to post the reply with it. Just a suggestion if you want more information on them.
Awesome team! Wish I had got my hands on one of those Toy Soldier flotation jackets back in the day
