That's good you found a form of scrying that works for you. It takes some people a while to find a method of divining that they click with.

To be honest, I do not know the answer to your question as I haven't reached that level of clarity in my own scrying practice. What I do know/ understand about any form of divination is that the answers are always up to interpretation by the diviner, and answers will come through in the best way the person divining will understand them. This means, that if you are a person that notices symbols or hears words, those will be the way the messages will come through for you. If you work on developing these methods of understanding then the messages should become clearer overtime. When it comes to developing your ability to reach this level, I would suggest scrying more often and looking into ways of developing your minds eye (third eye, clairvoyance, intuitions, etc.), or dig deeper into the symbols you are being shown to see if there lies your answer, (you are seeing them for a reason). There have been cases where people have predicted events, which is where prophecies come from, but I don't know anyone personally with this ability - so again, I cannot speak on this manner. @@JoshxIZ I have not tried salt fermentations yet. I have done vinegars and honey. I've also made tinctures... which isn't really a fermentations but more of an infusion with alcohol... Eventually I'd like to add a few more to my skill set.

I believe most people come to divination and scrying this way. Nothing wrong with doing what you are doing, and actually it's best to connect the way you feel comfortable with connecting. Going into scrying with an end goal can be helpful but I find my best messages come when I go in with an open mind curious about what inner feelings or thoughts will show itself. Scrying doesn't have to be used to connect with entities. Can it? Certainly. But most of the time people will use it to connect and meditate with the self. :)

The first leaf is the same as the second leaf you see. And, yes, it is Yarrow because I got this Yarrow plant from an herbalist mentor. There are both a native and cultivated yarrow which may have some differences in their leaf structures but they are both useful for what I described. Hope that helped. 😊

I can see how that is. It took me a long time to get into this deck and a lot of workings with this deck to get it to a place I enjoyed working with it. There are much easier and better decks out there, but this one I can understand can be a challenge. I still like the readings I get from it now though.

I've been lucky enough not to have run into this situation yet but that generally because I use dried herbs in my oils to infuse and do the cold method where I let the herbs and oils sit for 2-6 weeks to infuse. I have heard friends who use fresh herbs or semi fresh herbs run into the rot smell more often because the water from the fresh/semi fresh turns the oil rancid. I also generally use olive oil for cooking spells, making small batches of the oil so I go through the oils a lot faster. Hope that helps.

I believe that is more of a facial recognition thing than a scrying thing. As humans our brains seek out patterns and when we look at things like concrete or ground it can be surprising when our brain recognizes things like faces. It's how we get bunnies in clouds and the man on the moon. Because humans seek connection and our brains seek to make sense of what we perceive sometimes it can work overtime. With that said, if you are asking questions or seeking answers and going out of your way to see these patterns then I would say it's scrying. If you are just walking down the street and see a facial pattern in the concrete I would say it's your brain translating patterns into something recognizable. If that makes sense...

Yeah it was perfect. It may look cloudy but the sky where the sun was was clear.

I sometimes add oil to mine but most of the time I don't since the inside surface is shiny enough. When it comes to scrying bowls I generally still with glass but I don't see why you couldn't use silver, I just wouldn't want to damage the silver with paint but if you want to paint the bowl black maybe use a dishwasher safe modge podge. It is water proof to an extent. The reason I also use glass is I can paint the outside of the bowl and the inside reflects the colour I painted on the outside... So yeah, some ideas for you. Awe thank you. It is a very common form of magic that people don't realize they can do. It's perfect for beginners or seasoned practitioners. Also good for closeted witches that want to practice but can't do so in the open. This is a great way to give magical gifts and also create pieces that last for lifetimes. Great question. Generally what I do with my mirrors, scrying and regular, is lock them with a locking oil or, in most cases draw a locking sigil with my finger in the corner of the glass where it won't hinder the use of the mirror. I redo the lock after cleaning the mirrors, or whenever my gut tells me it's time to redo the lock. Hope that helps. :)

Tablespoon in hot water. Mix it with your tea. Tablespoon of this with club soda. Or you can have a straight teaspoon of it... Although I don't recommend...

It doesn't keep indefinitely. Different fermentations keep for different amounts of time. For lemon and ginger like this, once it's reached the fermentation you want (usually after a month) move it to a cool dark place (fridge works). This slows the fermentation process and allows you to use it slowly for up to 6 months after making it.

Some people believe that if you place things in your left pocket it will bring you things. I'm more in the following of placing things in the pocket on your dominant side for bringing things in and your non-dominant side to send away. So, if you believe adding the magnet to your left pocket will attract friends, then go ahead. At the end it is your belief and intention that help power the spell. Hope that helps. :)
