To me, this show is a more teenified version of a show that already existed. In 2014, a horror series that liberally borrows characters from the public domain called Penny Dreadful aired and ran for 3 seasons. It was pulling pretty specifically from horror public domain so it featured characters like Dorian Gray (played by now broadway success Reeve Carney) and Doctor Victor Frankenstein. Also had in a bit role future Stay Doomed alumnus Jonny Beauchamp. (Had a major role in Katy Keene).

Is this a podcast that’s been going for 5 years and the hosts are just doing it for the love of the game

with Netflix bringing back The Mole - I would mark out for this to be given 1 season, in 2 years for the 25th anniversary maybe.

I heard about how Lindsay would leave one of the Dead shows on a stretcher, and she probably would be grounded for real in season 2. I see her junior year of HS not being as great, but she would turn it completely around as a senior and go to a good college. As for Sam, they said that he would be in drama club. I'm not sure why. Remember, he was sick of being a geek in the last episode, and the actor that played Sam started to grow that summer. I see him becoming cooler, actually. Maybe he starts hanging out with Ken and Daniel sometimes (the talk that him and Ken had in the bathroom could foreshadow that). Also, I know that Bill was supposed to be a jock. Maybe that would work, but I don't know.

I wouldn't mind seeing you guys do episodes on short lived Saturday Morning cartoons, even those live action teen sitcoms that aired on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.

I would like you guys do any of the short lived Super Dave shows, even the Fox Kids cartoon series. Maybe do many of the short lived adult cartoons like Family Dog, Fish Police, Captial Critters, Sit Down, Shut Up, Jeff and Some Aliens, and Moonbeam City.

The closest we got to Fort Boyard was The Crystal Maze on Nickelodeon, as TCM was done in Britain because they couldn’t get the rights for Boyard yet.

Thoughts on Solarman: People in the comments kept going "Solarman looks like Firelord from Marvel" but my first thought was "Cheetara wants her leotard back!" A cartoonist getting an item from a dying alien which transforms him? That's Kyle Rayner's personality, with Hal Jordan's Green Lantern origin story! Midway through, I had the revelation that it was a guy named Ben with an alien transformation bracelet trinket. That's just Ben 10!

I checked the origin of the word joke, and Wiktionary has an example from 1706, so it's not like it wasn't used in English. I did catch Wiktionary in what I think is a mistake, though: It claims it's a cognate of English Yule, and Norwegian and Swedish Jul, or Christmas. But also, weirdly, Danish Jule. That's the prefix for things related to Christmas in Danish, not Christmas itself. Surely it would be Jul all around.

Well, that was annoying it's not picked up for more episodes. The animation and the voice acting was great. Especially since Buffy's Season DVDs are surprisingly expensive second-hand. Around $12 compared to the $1-2 for any other show's Season DVD.
