I visited hellfest this year for the first time with my wife. It was so much fun. Getting back to the "real world" was tough haha. Glad to see you guys enjoyed as well :)

I was there in 2023: I embraced the mud, it was a great ass training 😅 this year I enjoyed the solid ground…but way bigger crowd than 2023.

wacken 2023 was my first one...and we shouldn't have entered but since we had flown from canada we kind of said after a bit of a feisty disscussion with my friends on the thursday, we went and said fuck it let them say no to our faces...well we entered and lucky us the weather also got much better on the remaining time and I didn't even put my rain stuff once. I'm going back again next summer so hopefully this time will be a bit less chaotic to enter haha :P

In the 00's, the Jägermeister bar was basically a platform with bar and seats they strapped you into, suspended from a 100m mobile crane. Sadly I never got to go up in it. The mud has always been an issue at WOA, as far as I remember, but I never had a bad experience at the festival, regardless. The locals are next-level! Hellfest is still on my bucket list.
