Did you know his name is pronounced 'Kierkegore'. I think this goes for everyone w/ -gaard suffixed to their name, like Knausgård (Knausgaard -> Knausgore). Also, I'd like you to see what the french metaphysician Rene Guenon had to say about the 'masses'. It's slightly similar to Kierkegaard, but from a less individualistic perspective.

I agree... I saw this same behavior in India of the Philippines helpers helping a family that lived in Kuwait. I was in shock to how rude/mean.... but the children learn this mistreatment from their parents who enjoy "putting helper down".... the parents allow this abuse.

Yes. For our country is also a problem. We get workers from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, for majorly the same roles. And the new generation seems to not see the physical labor market at all. They all want to be hipsters, to draw or play, they don't understand that society could (potentially) implode at any moment and tradesmen would be more well-off. Modern kids are (thankfully) very literate, they speak much more eloquently than even I would, but they sometimes are just unbearable. And yes, as they grow and have no experience of functional poverty, they can be very easily swayed by nationalist rhetorics. The problem persists even in more higher age bracket. Our government tries to limit import of workers and to redirect school students to lower standards of education. Obviously people are not happy with this. Everyone wants their children to go into Moscow University, of course (for example). I personally, while supporting redirection of students to trades colleges, tried to save two my friends from this fate and to help send them into university, but apparently they already accepted their fate. Let's see what would happen of this.
