You don't. The pole is permanent. The boat cover stops just in front of that and snaps down. There is no need to remove it.

@@christyhatton109 yes, it can. But i don't think we've ever out it all thebway down except when Hurricane Ian came through last year. No need to otherwise.

@craigsawyer818 can you explain how to lay it. We tried backwards and the pole was in the way. So does it lay down forward?

@@christyhatton109 not really. I've had the boat for 3 years and have only laid it down once, so I can't remember a step by step if how I did it, or even if it's supposed to or not.

Definitely, and that is the way it is originally played. I just haven't gotten my coordination to that point to be able to play it as originally recorded. I just do the best with the talent that I have to this point. Still working on the left hand hi-hat thing.

@@craigsawyer818 no it's good, wasn't bashing by any means really, I've been playing over 40 years and that's a tough one to get down, took me awhile to get the backwards playing down, lol. Truth be told, I still don't have the bell strikes down like the original, lol

First, no one stole anything off my boat, I custom ordered it as you see it here. Second, we live in SW Florida around shallow water and stainless steel props are not good to have in shallow water. Third, you just made yourself look like a jackass by being so rude.

I haven't personally played a Roland set, but from what I've seen/read, the Alexis Strike Pro SE is VERY comparable and even better when it comes to sound samples and playability. The biggest area I've seen that the Roland is superior is in durability for travel. Apparently the Roland is built a little tougher and may be better for you if you play a lot of gigs where you have to tear down, pack up, travel, set up, etc a lot.

Thank you! I absolutely love this kit! I've been playing for over 30 years but never really played often since I was in my early 20s. With this, I can put my headset on and experiment with the different sounds. Also has great effects controls. Highly recommended!
