How to Recognise When Not Quitting is a Superpower
Felt like given how long I have been gone and how it probably seems like I had quit it's only appropriate to make a video about (not) quitting. Been a while since I have been posting but pretty confident that I am back to posting with something a bit closer to some regularity now.

diagnosed 7 months ago (though i knew i have ADHD a long time but my depression, anxiety and other diagnosed disorders took a lot of space and energy) and after a lot of reading, hyperfocusing and taking meds i am near the breakpoint: do i really have ADHD or not? Because medication don't help a lot and i tried different ones... it's a hard, hard way.. and i very relate to your story (about 95% of it!) constantly having the feeling that you have to make progress and still have things to do, but not really knowing how to tackle it, always tackling it, always being insecure, always having imposter syndrome, hypochondriacal, anxious-avoidant (unfortunately there are enough Comorbidities, depression and anxiety are probably very common, but for me there may also be other things and as long as it doesn't get better my brain is rattling and this restlessness in my head, dissatisfaction drives me almost crazy). At one point I think that I'm highly intelligent, only to then realize that I'm probably pretty stupidly incompetent because I don't understand a lot of things and my self-demand and my perfectionism are much higher in this pure chaos and madness (brain rattling). . Like an absolute failure, and that's what I still haven't managed to do, even after over a year (waiting for diagnostics and researching ADHD and stuff) including trying medication for 7 months. fuck! best regards!

Good finding this video after all the time. I am 38 now. A life with the same issues that you are talking about. I barely finished high school. I started 2 different subjects in university and quit eventually after losing years with half assed trying. In fact it was more self indulgence than any meaningful studying. One subject was physics. One was intermedia design. I had the ability to finish despite needing very different talents. But one major thing I was missing. The ability to even remotely rely on my self. I could not. And after all those years I figured out that my brain is just dysfunctional. I still need to get that diagnose. But I am on it right now calling different doctors trying to get an appointment. It's difficult to get a hold of them because millions of people have mental health issues. But I will keep trying until one door opens.
