VHS update for 11/7/24
UPDATE ON 8 MILE TRB:
I ended up copying most of the footage from my old copy into the new copy and swapping reels back.
8 Mile TRB:
Opening: Goes Straight to opening credits
Closing: First few seconds of end credits, BSOD, then recording stops and has the last remaining minutes of xXx TRB, having the directed by screen which freezes, then has a DVD menu screen and a BSOD again and that's it.

I forgot to mention that I also have the Japanese Laserdisc of The Phantom Menace, but the Japanese VHS is my first time owning a Widescreen VHS of it I also have a TCFV Laserdisc of Casablanca aswell I still have my workprint bootleg VHS of Men in Black aswell

EDITED 8/11/24: I no longer have the following 2 tapes: Unlawful Entry VHS-rip bootleg: There are no surprises at the beginning or at the end Wifemistress CPHE: This snapped at the end when I was trying to clean the mold off of it. I did use the red lid for spare parts.

I have Tommy Boy on DVD.
The 4K-remastered Japanese dub print of this movie has the same logo combo. 4Kリマスター日本語吹替版プリントもこのロゴの組み合わせでした
Hi Devinny, the majority of the Family Home Entertainment tapes from the 80's that had the MGM/UA Home Video logo on the case/box didn't have that logo at the start of the tape or the end.
I have the 1980 MGM/CBS Home Video VHS of Jailhouse Rock. My copy is the original printing from 1980 as it's recorded on a tan lid and has all 3 previews at the end (including the first trailer for The Wizard of Oz). While I will need to recheck soon, it does have 9 and a half minutes of black screen at the end of the tape before rewinding.
My Honey TRB revised NLE is similar to your Last Samurai, meaning that both the spines have the same VHS logo
9:21 As of November 2nd, “Johnny Mnemonic” is no longer the worst movie I’ve ever seen because the worst movie I’ve ever seen in my life now is “Veronica Guerin” which is a 2003 movie.
I recently got a preowned copy of Tommy Boy on VHS, which is a 1998 reprint.
I Have Must Love Dogs On DVD.
