I'm what you could call a baby trans, i recently have started learning about it and realizing who I was. And when I heard you talking it made me feel better because I've never felt to comfortable in my body, I started watching FTM TikToks and started realizing 'hey, i could do that and look like that?' i looked up more stuff and bam, bad dysphoria. It's nice to know i wasn't really the only who ended up finding out like that and then experiencing it bad. Sorry if this sounds kind of confusing I'm not that good at putting my feelings into words

But I think the major of the population believe that you believe this is right for you, what the difference is is that we think, well just because your life experiences and fundamental convictions have summed up into and resulted in this feeling and belief you have, doesn't mean your feelings should guide your actions, your rationality should, and rationality includes not denying biological factors and the fact that your views of sex will necessarily change as you age.

I disagree with the conclude you come to, if you have dysphoria, don't transition at all, seek a new value-based philosophy and lifestyle. Body dysphoria applies to all parts, not just sexual parts, and cutting off body parts because you are dysphoria is dangerous. It's like suggesting a schizophrenic go through with his plans to kill all the lizard elites.

Given this idea, and hearing all the different philosophical approaches to knowledge, I would argue that there are two major pipelines to transsexuality, one is the person is more objective about reality, say a Blair White type who knows they are a metaphysical male that made themselves a man-made woman, this type has dysphoria. The other type is the subjective/nominalism thinker that believes reality is subjective and words create the universe, as opposed to word describe the universe as it is. This latter type can change at will as biology is meaningless to them, what they say is the new truth. The former transitions because they don't understand objective moral values and seeks to evade a pain. The latter transitions because they don't understand objective metaphysics and epistemology and seek to evade being the "social bad-guy" (either a male that sees masculinity as abuser and femininity as abusee and would rather not be an abuser; or a female that sees femininity as weak, and seeks strength by attempting to become male for that default social view of masculine strength).

I have a FTM cousin. When I had seen him for the 1st time in 4 yrs., 3 mos., he had a beard. When we last met was before he had begun transitioning. I never asked or commennted about his transitioning. He actually broke the news about being trans through text message & was accepting of him as a member of the family. My uncle whom is his father has a beard. Maybe genetics combined with testosterone has to do with that part of transitioning. Mauricio's transition began in his late 20s.

I've been watching a lot of these female transition videos trying to get a good understanding of it so I can be better enlightened but I feel that a lot of people in trans don't get the full mail experience because they surround themselves with members of the lgbtq community that knew them before they transitioned and they rely in the safety of the transition community and don't get the full experience of what it is to be a man due to the limitations of contemporary medical science and procedures and the cultures they choose to participate in. I'm not saying privilege doesn't exist however cis-gender male culture exists the way it does due to the collective experience of the cisgender males that participate in it. Things aren't the way they are just because they are the way they are because experience dictates how they should be. Separating yourself from your emotions or just being in general more cold and analytical is how you stop yourself from being violent because testosterone with poor emotional control could lead to erratic violent behavior; with testosterone comes a low level of rage higher bone and muscle density and a greater ability to achieve violence. This inherent constant biological threat is part of the reason why men seem to command more respect and obedience in public settings because we inherently have a higher capacity for violence so we need more emotional control and it's easier often times just to turn the emotions down or tune them out completely.

Trans guy here thinking of joining a fraternity for the same reasons as you. Only problem for me is the hazing. Being trans, i won’t be able to participate in a lot of activities. But I’m hoping if I’m upfront about it during rush after getting to know the guys in each frat, then I could see which ones are right for me or not. I don’t want to feel like I’m not accepted, or to be constantly afraid of someone finding out. Especially with my future brothers. But hazing is definitely going to be an issue

Even before my transition I was attracting mostly straight women. Can totally relate to the fear that they won't accept you once they know, though my situation has been further complicated by feeling pidgeon-holed into explaining exactly what intersex means which typically leads to depleting any sexual tension that was there.
